Once upon a time I was interested to learn French while I was in India but I couldn’t pursue it because of work and other things. You can check Home - AFUSA which offers French classes based on the location from beginner to advanced levels. Now due to Covid the classes could be online. They have branches in India too.. There are plenty other free resources available but I somehow feel it’s good to learn under some native French speakers to get certified. Long long ago, really so long ago I got the preliminary certificate from Alliance de francaise in India. But there is no continuity and improvement. Recently I had started to watch and learn from youtube videos, not for any certification, but to quench my language thirst. I am taking only baby steps. I follow learn french with alexa in youtube.
