I am here to nominate @tanya3's thread Is It Really Worth Living This Way!!. I am sure many ladies will give their suggestions here and I simply liked her balanced post with all facts presented as is so that others can suggest solutions without any bias. She had mentioned the problem with MIL but attributed specifics about her problem and similarly, she expressed her thoughts about leaving the husband but also clearly stated that her husband is a good person. I feel many suffer from this problem but may not articulate clearly as she did here.
Dear Cheeniya Sir, I am here to nominate @kaluputti's thread Upanishad Stories. I had a chance to read the stories from Upanishad. What a great way to learn the rich knowledge that comes from Sanatana Dharma. I have not responded to this thread as yet as I need to think about what would be an appropriate response to such a wonderful thread.
Dear Cheeniya Sir, I am here to nominate @SuiDhaaga's thread How Can Women Protect Themselves When Traveling - Or Should They Just Stay Home. Everyone should read this original post, responses from other ILites, and OP's own response that cover comprehensively all of the concerns a woman has while traveling. Even though it is painful to learn about what happened at the airport, it is educational for a man like me to understand what precautions one should take to let a woman in the family travel alone. Until I read this thread, I never thought through the risks a woman could face while traveling internationally. We always take into consideration the place of origin and destination but never considered a transit location to be dangerous for a woman traveling.
My nomination number four for the month is this post by @DDream Life After A Baby In addition to helping OP there with useful suggestions and a listening ear, DDream's post made me feel better about myself. Poocho kyon? Ask why? Why because -- from the post I learned that the Obama's are/were also not immune to the seemingly silly or illogical disagreements or resentments that occur between husband and wife. Thanks to DDream's post I know that even Michelle Obama can feel like this: "My resentment for him was that Barack was prioritizing himself, in a way. We had babies; he was at the gym. I was like, 'How do you find time to work out?' ...
Thanks @Rihana. I watched ' Becoming ' on Netflix. When I heard these sentences ,I couldn't stop grinning... . She dont have to give details, but it helps to connect with her
Dear Cheeniya Sir, I am here to nominate @Balajee's thread Deepavali Musings. His sense of humor helps us to relax when we read his snippets. He tailors all of his snippets to current matters and only a person with a great sense of humor could do that. I never miss any of his snippets as it brings happiness even on a tough day at work.
