    Navarathri Blessings
    For Nine Consecutive evenings The Goddess fought defeated one of the demons each night.

    FIRST night she quelled Kama, the demon of LustOn.

    SECOND night she extinguished Krodha, the demon of Anger.

    THIRD night, She dispelled the demon of Attraction, Moha.

    FOURTH night, She shattered Lobha, the demon of Greed.

    FIFTH night She came face to face with the demon Mada, and TRIUMPHED Hubris.

    SIXTH night She confronted the swirling demon of Jealousy - Matsara and sent it smithreens.

    Then with her effulgence countenance of smile radiating the energy of Beauty, She went forward and bludgeoned the grotesque face of Swartha, the demon of selfishness.

    On dusk of day eight, she had eliminated demon Anyaya - injustice.

    On the dusk of nineth, only with Her benevolence She had banished Amanavata, the dreadful demon of Cruelty.

    Then on the following morning, She was about to rest when She realised that her most difficult opponent was upon Her.
    She switched Her posture to Lotus squat, laid down all her weapons aside.
    A face of aplomb & a streak of smile, She dissolved the last but not the least of all demons - Ahankara, Her ego.

    Navratri has begun to remind you of eliminating or and banishing all those demons.

    Happy NAVARATHRI FESTIVAL TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS & Fellow IL'ITES.

    If I celebrate Navarathri intensely with the hope to destroy all of the above, the 10th day will be enlightenment for me. Unfortunately, I pray and pray with no effort to purify all 10 impurities in me.

    The concept of Navarathri fully explained.Annihilation of the six enemies,selfishness,
    injustice and cruelty.Every year on, we are being overpowered by all the enemies arising again and again.
    Appears this is only a story to tell and human beings will be ever fully alive with all enemies in tact and Devis see to it and get ensured taht these evils get never eliminated.

    It could be the other way round . Keeping the forgetful nature of humans, Devi had decided that in order that humanity remembers her power prowess and presence atleast for few days in a year , creates evils for a while here and there. So naturally people would select auspicious time and do worship in elaborated manner.
