    How long did your first period after your c-section last? Is it ok to bleed more than 12 days. Just need some inputs before calling my gynae.

    How long after your delivery did your menstrual cycle resume?
    Have heard of ladies experiencing slightly heavy bleeding during their first period after delivery..but 12 days seems excessive to me..hope you haven’t lost too much blood...better to consult with the Gynec.

    Call your doctor, especially if the bleeding is heavy. You don’t want to end up anemic.
