    besides what @ malstorm suggested above you can also look at H&M. So far only the dress i got for my baby from H&M lasted through all the rough machine cycles without colors fading , getting snagged threads or lint or any such issues compared to other stores.

    If she likes brands.. you can checkout Abercrombie, Hollister etc. though on high end, you might get good deals on clearance section

    @anika987 Sorry for derailing the thread.
    @MalStrom Can you recommend any good brands for ladies with nice and trendy clothes which are not too expensive.
    I like H&M, Gap, Ny&C, Old navy but apart from that I don’t have much idea about other brands.
    I have been looking Zara but never bought anything yet.

    Sorry I’m not of much use for adult clothes. My friends like Boden, Zara, Free People, Anthropologie and Madewell for dresses, but I’m not sure how they are price wise. I bought some pretty tops for my SIL from Nordstrom last year.
    I usually wear a lot of Indian cotton tops during summer from Anokhi and Fab India, and the rest of my wardrobe is Lands End and LLBean.
    @nuss would be the better person to ask for fashion advice.

    @anika987
    Thanks for this thread. Look forward to more replies, as I would like to know as well.

    For Kids i like,
    Gymboree (my favorite, now only online)
    Gap
    Jcrew ( good sales, regular ones are too expensive for growing kids)
    Bodenusa, Nextusa ( UK brands)

    @shravs3 - Loft, Banana republic, Jcrew, Nordstrom ( they have good sales) are some of my favorite shops. You can also check loft, banana and jcrew outlet for different models, but the quality is less than their regular shops, but you get some varieties that you dont get in the regular ones. Always shop during the weekend as there are more discounts than during the week, esp at banana
    I love to check bodenusa for colorful prints and dresses.

    I am going to add an additional segment to my thread..

    This abercrombie, justice, hollister are quite high ends but is it okay to buy our kids these brands and make them aware of fashion even before they can understand themselves? I am just a little concerned coz buying them branded stuff so early will make her spoilt..
