This feels comfortable..this feels good. It feels like a reunion you have been waiting for..where it's been ages you have spoken, yet nothing has changed.
I still remember those initial days here..when I needed to vent and this was the place I chose. I was not judged, not advised, never criticized..just heard!
And then..Life happened! Lot's has changed. I quit my job. Moved to a new country. Back on job hunt..and then the pandemic hit.
This 'pause' in life gave way to lot's of things. It made me think, about many things and life in general. Plans to make a change in my career path, resume my hidden interest for writing..concentrate on what I like than what I'm expected to like!
I had way too many ideas, options, concerns going around in my mind and needed a place to just put out my thoughts and organize them. And when all this was happening in my mind, this old friend of mine popped into my head.
Of course I had to come back. This is where I can think out loud, ask, share and even vent (sometimes)!

Thanks my old friend...for being the constant in this ever changing life happening outside!
I intend to stay longer this time!

    Until next time...

So aptly said... We get so engrossed in life with our family, career that sometimes we forget what we were. Ans yes, this pandemic has brought out a lot of old memories, old friendships, old experiences and many more positivities. It has given us a chance to have a break, relax and actually live life, rather than just rushing through it.
