I am inclined to get next computer as chromebook because

    1. Some of them are less than 2lbs
    2. Lot of them are less than $500
    3. No annoying Windows updates

Do any of you have experiences with chromebook. Is there USB drive?

I was thinking of getting iPad and attach keyboard. Prices have fallen for past 10 years. Is there USB drive?

My current laptop is 3lbs and when I carried to office (before COVID), my arm was in pain.

    Please give experiences and advice.

Chromebook helps - its light weight and efficient for simple browsing and storing files in google drive. I like to see clean desktop !

Do you trust Google with your files?

Do you trust the Cloud with your files?

Makes me wonder who is seeing our files if we don't store on personal Thumb drive.

I use IPad with keyboard and pencil. Bought one for my 2nd grader for online classes and liked so much that bought one for myself too. Makes it very east for zoom meetings and taking notes on the go. I use slides app too.

:hello:I wish to know merits of your choice for final selection over iPad mini which am using several years without any problems whatsoever.
    Thanks and Regards.

I'm leaning towards an iPad with keyboard myself. Does it include USB port for thumb drive?
