Sometimes we dont understand God's ways and His plans. He takes away young people and some old people are still there . If they are hale and hearty it is ok but when they have health problems it is difficult for them to live and they feel they are also suffering and making others also suffer. In my dh's family many have died at the age of 50 and above. On 27th July 2005 si my brother in law's wife expired. His daughter has given a nice tribute to her mother in her poem which I wanted to share here If tears could build a stairway, and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to heaven to bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say goodbye you were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness and secret tears still flow, what it meant to lose you, no one will ever know." I know noone can take a mother's place .A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take."
viji maami, very often we are left wondering about the whys and hows of death. Only way is to accept Gods will and carry on. So soulful a tribute to her mother! Only time should heal the pain. It is not easy.
She - your Bil’s daughter has shared a very nice poem that would remind us our mothers every time we climb stairs. Lyrics so beautiful in sadness oozing the effect of bond. A nice tribute to departed Mothers of the world. I have a feel that you are lover of poems that express varieties of emotion including grief and sadness. You began with an observation of death youngs and olds and those ailing continue to live bothering their young ones. God selects lives of caliber for a purpose irrespective of age perhaps. Thanks and Regards.
