    you can gift the mom's kids a certification exam voucher if there is any for the course you taught them.

    I am extremely sorry,girls!Today I had been to the shop. I just thought it was too much as it was jwellery gift card.But it was really a token amount but great gesture by a bestie!!! She is so smart and I do not feel that bad now.I am sorry again!!

    Though, picky me would quietly tell myself that to use such a gift card, I would most likely have to put in some money of my own.. : )

    Now that this question is resolved, my tangent question: what is the comparison of Tanishq and Joy Allukas? Are they similar in choices, prices and customer service? Just timepass wondering... : )

    Ya right, to utilize the gift voucher I need to put in money....voucher is about 5k INR... anyway...

    I have not tried Tanishq yet .but i see more design withTanishq.

    I understand! However, IMO, there is nothing wrong with writing a Thank you letter to someone who did something special. I thank my whole class on the last day of classes and of course, every student is important but I do make sure to send an email to the students who decide to bring a small gift after grades are posted and there is no conflict. Even though I tell my class to not bring me gifts, some students do. These students take extra time and effort so I don't feel bad to write a special note.
    But we all have our own ways and I am glad you figured out what's best for you!

    @Rihana I feel Tanishq has more elegant collection as compared to Joy Allukas.
    Also Joy Allukas has more varieties of Kerala jewellery.
