Yet another month of Corona! Months are passing one after another adding to our girth. Never knew that sedentary life could have such devastating effect even on younger people. Remember the family of Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor? That’s my family now!

Lockdown is the most disliked word today. ‘Stay home stay safe’ is hated even by school children. It is for the first time that we see children crying wanting to go to school! With the entire family staying at home, it must be a real family blast day after day! That explains the sluggish activity in Finest Posts. When families are busy playing carom and chess, where is the time for them to think of nominating a post?

I understand and I am all with you. I only plead with you to divert your attention here when you get tired of chess and such delightful time-pass!

Honestly, we are able to carry on with this contest only with the active participation of two or three members. It is time that more people chip in with their bit. Make a beeline to July Nominations please.

Each member is allowed to nominate up to 4 posts only. This will not include your seconding of a nomination. In other words, only your primary nominations will be accounted towards the permitted four nominations.
This ensures that each of us have a hand in deciding the winning post as we will filter our choice more closely, thus making the winner more significant.

A typical scenario that everyone goes through during the professional journey. I liked @Rihana 's suggestion. Nothing much can be achieved through a hostile reaction. I am glad the OP responded very sensibly and all is well.

Thank you for your second nomination of @Thyagarajan 's response to your thread 55 Yrs In Mumbai
I never cease to be amazed by the enthusiasm of Thyagarajan in responding to the various threads and posts. Some members stick to certain sections of their liking but Thyagu has a great reach and his responses, numbered or otherwise, are a delight to read. He may have lived in Mumbai for a shorter duration compared to you but the intensity of his feelings for the City shows how much he loves the city.
