What type of haircut would you suggest for the 2b/2c hair with frizz?

And corporate ladies, do you iron your hair regularly? How do you control frizz?

Love to see your office hairstyles..

    TIA

I define 2B as wavy with frizz. Over the years I have relied heavily on flat irons/ keratin treatment.
Last year, I noticed my hair was so much in distress and split ends, I swore ongoing natural
I started using the customized shampoo/ conditioner Prose Hair. It helped a lot, saw that my hair enjoyed being without the irons. Split ends improved.

2 weeks ago I did keratin at home. Keratin lifts the frizz off the hair, not necessarily the curls/ waves. Without Frizz, I am able to manage my hair much better in summer.

Frizz and wavy hair makes me look like ↓↓↓↓

    Thanks for the reply blindpup10.

What kind of haircut you got?

I have long hair and never applied heat. But it's a nightmare to control frizz. I'll try keratin treatment.

Don't apply heat. Heat kills your hair. Keratin does require you to do it, but that's just for one day. Everyday heat to you can REALLY break your hair.

I have shoulder-length hair. Without frizz, Ia m able to just comb my hair without heat and it still looks like I am put together.
My 2 cents- If you enjoy your long hair and frizz is the only problem. DO keratin treatment. And have long hair. Have hairstyles like these. Don't cut your hair

Thanks blindpup10. Does keratin treatment cause hair fall?

@hermitcrab - This is the one I used. I hated it to do myself. I prefer to get it done. But with COVID I said why not. OH boy it was really stressful !! My kid hanging on to me every sec and chemicals making me cry. My kid trying to smell my hair, while I stood next to the floor fan. Use gloves, so your fingers don't hurt.
Also there are organic keratin treatments if you want to explore that option.

    But I am frizz-FREE

@anivijay- my hair doesn't fall, but hair gets dry. I use coconut oil to soothe it.
It may cause hairfall in others. I am not sure

I used to iron my hair every couple of days when I was a newbie "office-goer".

A few years ago, I stopped using shampoo and conditioner on my hair and all the frizz + flyaways are gone. I just wash my hair with warm water. Initially for a few weeks - hairs feel super oily. But then your scalp regulates after the many years of drying out by shampoo/soap/conditioner and then my hair is just fine now.

I still do iron my hair for some special event - maybe once or twice a year - that's it.

Not having to worry about what shampoo/conditioner to buy and having quick showers - has been a blessing that I don't want to ever go back to using anything on hair.

You can read about "water-only" wash - it's a thing! :) Some people go crazy about what you do to give up on "poo" (the name given to shampoo) and still get smooth silky hair. Here's an example:
The Ultimate Water-Only Hair Washing Routine – [No Shampoo!] | Just Primal Things

This ^^ is way too complicated for me. I did read a few of these posts when I first started down this path - but I didn't want to replace shampoo/conditioner with another "routine". So I simply took out shampoo + conditioner and my hair just worked its way to - Comb for less than minute + ponytail or half my hair tied up and leave home.
