    Also you should go to Ranjani Memorial Trust website and listen to this girl Samanvi being groomed by the trust. She is brilliant.

    I did not know that she has won President's award.
    There are many talented and unknown singers in carnatic field.

    Thank you for this beautiful snippet. In your own way, you have also contributed to immortalizing Ranjani Hebbar. You know I am no connoisseur of carnatic music but enjoy quite a bit of it. Thank you for introducing this wonderful artist here. Enjoyed reading about her and loved even more listening to her. I adore Purundaradasara krithis and Basavanna!, oh , less said better. Be assured, thanks to you I will be listening more to Ranjani.

    I have been meaning to stop by and read this snippet since the day you posted, but I am glad coming in so late for now I can truly spend time listening. Thank you!

    Sabitha I am glad that you have taken a liking to Ranjani. Though death has stilled her voice, her disciplines Archana and Samanvi are carrying forward her tradition. You should check on them too. I am sure you will enjoy their singing too.While the two are outstanding Samanvi on her own is brilliant!
