June is here. We are nearing the halfway mark of a difficult year. The scary Corona has also shown its good side to us. Our family bonds have improved tremendously. Wives have started thinking ‘Oh, my guy is not that bad. Coming to think of it, he is really sweet’ Husbands have started thinking ‘What a great pillar of the family she is! Why I didn’t notice the pillar earlier? This will be the turning point in our family’. The credit should entirely go to Corona for this metamorphosis. I am hoping that this magical transformation will result in a lot of happy stories that will adorn the coffers of Indusladies.

By now, most of you would have realised that I am a diehard optimist. I am already rubbing my hands gleefully with the hope of getting drenched in the cascade of Nominations.

    Off we go then!
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please note that posts and threads from the sub-forums Express Cafe, Forward Messages & Jokes, Online Games & Puzzles are not for nomination.

Nominations are accepted on the strict understanding that they are original writings of the Poster. If it comes to our notice that it is copied, the nomination will be removed with a note that it is a copied piece and hence deleted.

To familiarize yourselves with FP and its nominating process, please check this link below:
    Finest Posts of IL
Each member is allowed to nominate up to 4 posts only. This will not include your seconding of a nomination. In other words, only your primary nominations will be accounted towards the permitted four nominations.
This ensures that each of us have a hand in deciding the winning post as we will filter our choice more closely, thus making the winner more significant.

The nominations will be closed on the last day of every month. Simultaneously, the nomination thread for the following month will be opened on the First day of that month.

In case of nominating FBs, please remember to add a link to the FB and not to the original post.

The following gives step-wise on adding links to your nominations –

    - To add a link to the original post that you are nominating:
How to add a "Link" in my post?

    - To add a link to the FB that you are nominating:

    @iyerviji
    My dear Viji
Thank you for opening this month's FP Nominations with @HariLakhera 's
    Education Provides Wings To Children?
This is indeed a very good read and is written with compassion. When I was going through the post, I wondered if the children taking care of their elderly parents was an entirely human aspect. When I googled, I got this information:
"Do animals take care of their elderly?
There are animals that care for their sick and elderly like humans do like the African wild dogs and wolf. Wolf and wild dogs have been documented to hunt and carry food back to be given to their injured, sick or elderly members."
I have come across sons dumping their parents in Old Age Homes and never having anything to do with him anymore. The African animals are way better than such heartless children.
That is gem of a summing up by Hari. It is a pity that this facet of human life will never be known to younger people.

Yes Ma'am. At times humans are worse than animals. Animals do not hoard, humans do. The worst and best of humans comes under difficult times like Corona.
I read somewhere than elephants move in group. When an elephant is sick and dying other members try to help but eventually leave and move only to return after a few days to mourn the death of the aged and sick member.
Not all children are the same. Sometimes parents also create lot of problems by constant grumbling. Still, the worst time is when they get emotionally neglected.
    Thanks for you thoughtful comments.
