    Dear @Mithila48,

I am happy that this snippet could kindle some memories of your past. Thank God it was just a marriage invitation. In my apartment there were hardly any good relationships between the inmates due to the selfishness of some members. They didn’t allow us to build a new sump, so that tankers could fill up the tank and through electric pump we could fill up the overhead tank. Life was hell living amidst such thoughtless people.

Thank you for your valuable feed back.

:hello:I enjoyed the hilarious narrative that includes macabre scenes of belligerent women defending their ward.
    2. I as usual read it in reverse and began with déjà vu. Reading both ways invariably adds to insight of build up.

    3. Commotion chaos prevail in apartments of cosmopolitan character with affluent class and middle class occupying flats in top floor and ground floor(some places) leading to skirmishes serious and hilarious simultaneously very well brought out in your narration with finer details.

    4. When guests arrive in a particular flat, the secretary to be informed of their duration of their stay to enable the extra water charges to be computed and paid for by the host often lead to volley of abuses threatening entire inmates.

    5. Cricket afternoon is a common problem in most of the societies even now.
The description of the scene and the style of players well brought out in your characteristic writing.

    6. A senior citizen was unhappy that his early morning slumber disturbed daily by both men and women team playing shuttle badminton. Secretary and me persuaded them to bear with the decibel but eventually it turned out , he became active member taking turns to play early morning with us. He enjoyed playing mixed doubles.

    7. Title gave me impression about issues with functions of Borewell pump in the street. But as I read it in reverse, I could dismantle to have an exploded view of the pump. Keep pumping with such posts.
    Regards.
    God bless.

    Dear Agatha,

Lodak, lodak sound brought some past memories in Chennai when we faced severe water crisis in 1982 when I lived in India. My dad used to wake me up @3 a.m. in the morning for us to take turn to pump water even though we lived in an individual house. We didn’t have a borewell those days. I was 28 years old and early morning sleep was precious for me. Whenever my conscience was shaken up by guilt, I used to wake up to help my dad. Otherwise, I used to pretend to sleep. 5 years later, my dad died due to renal failure. When he was sick, I used to apologize and cry sitting next to my dad about my silly behavior.
He being such a loving dad repeatedly said to me that I did nothing wrong. He spent every evening holding my hand and gave some incredible insight about right living. He taught me to do actions with good intentions without worrying about the results.

    Dear @sln,

A few decades back, cctvs had hardly made their presence in the market, and even if they had, our apartment residents were hardly the kind of those who were ready to pitch in with their money for the betterment of the apartment. The glass panes of the ventilators of bathrooms of many flats on the third floor was broken, but getting labor to do the repair work was like searching for a needle in the haystack.
When the parents themselves are there to support their wards, no kind of punishment is going to do any good in the long run. Thank you for your valuable FB.

    Dear @Thyagarajan,

It’s quite funny to see you reading the snippets in the reverse as well as the same side, one thing I have never heard before.
Due to shortage of water we never encouraged our guests even for an overnight stay, thus emotionally distancing many of our close and loved ones. The sad part is that nobody understood the reality or reason.
When the teenagers were asked to switch to a tennis ball, they refused point blank, but more than that, the enthusiastic parents bought them all the paraphernalia that came along with cricket and encouraged them to play within the premises.
Hitting the hand pump is as good as going to the gym, exercising the arms, shoulders and hands, but for senior citizens, those with heart problems and those on the third floor it was a hellish experience.
Thank you Thyagarajan Sir for your valuable feedback.

    Dear Viswa,

I admit that getting up as early as 3am is very difficult for many of us, and as your dad said there was no need for you to feel guilty about it.
You should be truly blessed to have such wonderful parents, because i see a lot of parents indulging their kids with materialistic things instead of showing them the right way to live.Thank you for your hear felt feedback.

    Dear @Nuzhath,

It’s nice to see one completely different comment that distinctly stands apart from others. The way you have raised my level of writing, just due to how I ended the snippet with a “ lodak lodak’, reflects your admiration for my writing. Thanks a lot Nuzzath, my day is made!
