I would say yes, I am living my life to fullest. I am happy and content with what I have. I have a job that I dreamed of, a beautiful family, financial security and ability to help my parents/siblings. An understanding spouse who is my best friend. Lovely kids who bring chaos and joy to our lives. Good health to be able to enjoy the life’s little blessings.

What makes me happy- morning snuggles with the kids, a cup of coffee on the porch while watching birds/ insects. A good book and a cup of chai. A walk in the neighborhood or a hike on one of the many trails in our city. Just the mundane things!

Am I happy all the time? Of course not. There are times when I am stressed- work or family whatever is the reason.
But I have learned that the capability of being happy or miserable lies within me. So I make conscious efforts to be happy even when things don’t seem to be going they way I hoped.

Thanks. You nicely said it. You began with affirmative note and concluded that eventually it all boils down one to mental state. If one decides and determines to remain happy, he or she will.

    Regards.

God - Lend happy disposition to all instead only your devotees.

:hello: Eventually it boils down to mental state. The above text is the operative part of this thread. I like and love this statement. It has come from heart with experience.
    God Bless

As many of you are very well experienced in the journey of life, I can feel the contempt that all of you have achieved in life by just reading your answers..
I, an amateur at life, who thinks I have seen everything in life and I have not gained any satisfaction or happiness is just starting to realize from your answers that there is much more things I might have to lose or gain but yes as sir said, it is all a state of mind.

I am trying my best to inculcate that statement into my daily life. Hope I will be successful at it by at-least 10%. I will feel as if I have conquered the world. It is a chapter in progress in my life.

Thank you all so much for your beautiful and kind answers.
