Honestly I did not expect 11 nominations this month at all. You may recollect that we had only four nominations as on 19th of the month and I sent out a frantic SOS. Viswa and Viji came to my rescue and saved me from the embarrassment of carrying the meager number of entries over to the following month. If it had happened that way, it would be the first time ever, a record that I wouldn’t be proud of. What makes me happy is just not the fact that I could receive 11 nominations but that all the nominations are indeed classy. I really had a tough job in choosing the Winners. Children have disarming innocence and they can even question God directly of things they do not approve of. That’s what this child did and if and when Corona decides to leave us in peace, it would be because of prayers of innocent kids like this one. I have great pleasure in declaring @muggs as the Winner of the Finest Narration Award for her post Ok Google! When Coronavirus Will Go? The credit for this award goes as much to muggs as to her wonderful child! When I was young, nothing would make me open my mouth in awe. I would just node my head appreciatively. As I grew older, more and more things made my jaws drop. And now I hardly have occasion to close them! The latest thing that made them wider open is a post on Data Scientists. @startinganew has made some effective contribution to the aspiring data scientists. She has also offered her helping hand to the new entrants. I have great pleasure in declaring @startinganew as the Winner of the Finest Contribution Award for her responses in the thread Data Scientist - Skills Needed My hearty congratulations to the Winners and my sincere thanks to the proposers and supporters of the Winning Posts!
My hearty congratulations to @muggs and @startinganew for winning the finest narration and finest contribution respectively for the month of April 2020. @muggs daughter won the heart of all of us and therefore, as Cheeniya Sir pointed out, @muggs' daughter is a co-winner. As far as @startinganew's contribution is concerned, I am happy that her post helped those aspiring to get into data science to choose a specific field within the vast data science job market.
Dear @Rihana, @Thyagarajan Uncle - Thank you for having nominated my simple post. You are both so generous with your kind compliments!! And @Cheeniya Sir - thank you for choosing my post for the Award. I am overjoyed and am going to be walking around with a spring in my step today! Also @Cheeniya Sir: Thank you for sharing how sweetly your daughter shares her day with you - "just think aloud"! I have been muddling over how to better the communication at home without just talking about dreary yet important news. There is the answer I've needed to hear - just share more!
