I watched movie Asuran . This movie is about racial discrimination. This is based on the novel . I’m a big fan of Vetrimaaaran . I’m planning to watch his other movie Vada Chennai this weekend . This is one of the best movies but my taste is so different from general population. If you have read the novel you will appreciate the director better since the way he transforms from one medium to another is astounding . This movie does depict lot of violence .
Saw “super deluxe”.. It is a tamil movie..Found it weird, funny,Mixed emotions.. Especially Samantha and Fahad scenes.. Very funny and it was a dark comedy between them.Enjoyed their parts and surprised to see the usually classy fahad in a different role.
I watched "Crash landing on you" too, though I didn't like the ending that much especially the second heroine's fate, I watched it till the end and it was pretty good. I watched "Well Intentioned Love", I think it's Chinese but it was good. There are quite some good shows and movies on Netflix. Some are too feel good, I deliberately stopped watching from 15-20 days till last weekend because they were like mental desserts, too good to be true, definitely chick, rom-com material. I had even watched "Raising Dion" almost 3 months back, that was good. I watched "Prince of Peoria" with my son - it's a kids show. This was waaaaay before lock down. I even managed to watch a couple of Kannada movies - one of them was "Ondu Motteya Kathe", didn't expect much but it was good, a decent family entertainer. I can't remember the other movie name now, little depressing. Telugu movies recently - Oh Baby!, Ala Vaikunthapuram lo and Sarileru Neekevvaru. I liked Rashmika a lot, she seems to have a lot of potential. A couple of English rom-coms. I watched "Vettai" in Tamil. I watched "Game over" and thought it was okay, not really that good, but not bad either. I watched "O Pitta Katha" yesterday, it was good - one time watch, pretty decent movie. I tried watching WFL (World....), but couldn't watch it much. But after watching the beginning 20-25 minutes I understood why a pathetic movie like Arjun Reddy (which I could not watch beyond 10 minutes) became a hit, it was only and only because of VD, he has some weird charm, Rashi Khanna's Telugu is really good. I hope VD and Rashi Khanna pick better subjects for their movies.
