    Shutter Island is a good one. Some other thriller if you liked this one are:

    1. Identity - John Cusack
    2. Secret Window - Johny Depp

    Some thrillers which are creepy which you can watch if you have the muscle:
    1. Silence of the lambs
    2. Seven

    1408 is another thriller, which I dont think I was able to watch it until the end.

    Well said about Shawshank redemption. Watched a decade back, but it is evergreen in my memory!
    What a classic! Want to add ENGLISH PATIENT also. World war II story setup with love entangled.

    Hrishikesh mukherjee`s are superb. Recently I watched many of his movies. Including the above, don`t miss to watch ANUPAMA (handsome Dharmendra and cute Sharmila). I want to watch it again this one and chupke chupke, what a comedy.

    I recently started watching turkish dramas and they are quite good ...
    If you are interested try

    KUZGUN .. available in you tube with English sub titles ... but I have to warn each episode is long and this is quite an emotional drama ...but it is damn good

    I recently watched Korean drama called Crash landing on you which is on Netflix. I binge watched all the episodes last weekend. It’s a rom com, action and emotional drama and one of the highest rated Kdrama.

    Also watched Uyare, a Malayalam movie about a girl who wants to be a pilot but struggles due to a tragedy. It’s a good movie.

    Currently watching Money Heist (Spanish heist drama) and Hi bye Mama( Kdrama)
    Both are interesting

    Watched japanese wife again. Enjoyed every deep authenticity of actors/director's representation in the movie.
    Boyhood - when younger kid leaves to college, the mom says, all years I worked to gather al the stuff and now I am working to get rid off it (she moving to apartment from a home)). She also says after kids leave I though some thing else is there but next is my funeral... These lines stayed with me. Kind of reality....

    Marriage story - current generation situation, exactly
