A lady at the office suggested I use Aveeno to treat body itch.

Itch in Body is tolerable, but there are days I get terrible terrible itch on scalp.

Few days ago, I did not sleep a wink, and I was so scared of leaving the house.

Aveeno has to many products, I am just overwhelemed.

I am looking for Aveeno Cream with "colloidal oatmeal" that is safe to put on both body and scalp.

An itch of that kind that too on the scalp is abnormal. Have you already visited a dermatologist (not the primary care provider or general doctor) to rule out any infections? You should do that first.

If infection is not the reason, then stress is the next big reason. Instead of oatmeal, I suggest you message your scalp with coconut oil (heat it a bit if it is too solid, to make it runny, not hot but warm) and put it on your scalp and massage it well. You can also try fenugreek - soak 1 tablespoon of fenugreek seeds in water for around 8 hrs (you can soak in the night and use before bedtime or vice versa). Make a paste of the seeds in blender (take the smallest sized one), you can use the water that remained after soaking (if any) in the paste if you like. Make the paste the consistency of gel - it should not be too liquidly but almost like a gel. Make it as fine a paste as you can. Apply it on your scalp between the roots of hair and tie your hair and cover it with something like a shower cap. Leave it for around 1/2 hr to 45 minutes. This will just absorb the heat off your scalp and leave it refreshed and cool. After 40 minutes, wash it off with mild shampoo and water. This can also prevent greying.

I went to dermatologist so many times

He tells me it's dry skin

I tried Borage Oil capsules twice a day for two months, no luck

I tried Progesterone, and not I am off, no luck

I tried cold pressed coconut oil, no luck :(

If I get strength I will try fenugreek. I am so tired and exhausted, I am barely able to move.

I use Aquaphor for body skin. Really good for irritating or itchy skin.
Dandruff could be a reason for itchy scalp

Did your doctor gave anti-histamines or steroids for this? May be you need to change doctor to get proper diagnosis and medicine prescription. Looks like immune system overreaction what doctor says?mean while did you try coconut oil? is it not helping?

OP - for my itchy skin and scalp my dermatologist diagnosed it is due to low hemoglobin. Then I am slightly low on vitamin D and B12. I took antihistamine tablet for 3 weeks with no improvement.

I have tried QV, Aveeno, Eucerin, Atopalm. All these provide temporary relief.

over a period of few months I have figured out the trigger foods and now avoid them to keep itching in control. I avoid consumption of tamarind, tomato paste, mango powder, chaat masala.

the best thing which works for me is water. I take a damp napkin and dab it on itchy area including scalp.

and one thing I keep telling myself - this itchiness will go away,I just have to keep working on it.

Dr gave both antihistamines (made me sleepy only) and steriods (now tapered off)

Cold-pressed coconut oil didn't work. Parachute didn't work. Dr. doesn't think it's immune system overraction. Doctors are hard to find (I find it painful to go to office many days)

Will try to reach Dr tomorrow.
