Looking back I feel I have missed somethings in life. Due to financial condition of my father could not go to College. Those days there was only one warning member and we were five children
My brothers had to go to work after their Xth and study in night college. My father had a hotel in Chennai and when that got closed we all came to Hyderabad and stayed in my Dad's uncle's place for some years. Later we shifted when uncle's hotel also was closed and my Dad worked in a canteen. He was expert in.making Jangry
For a year we could not go to school and one aunt got admission for me and my sister in.Rosary Convent. My best friend helped a lot during my school days. She was very rich but down to earth. Her whole family were loving and caring

After finishing Xth my sister got a job in a factory. I gave tuitions till I got a job . I worked for 2 yrs. After my father's,s death we shifted to Mumbai as my brother got a job here. I worked for 36 yes. Joined as Typist, then promoted as Steno, then Senior Assistant. Might if I was a graduate would have become officer

My mother's mother was expert in.cooking.I never knew I will be married to a big family where everyone will be experts in cooking including gents.I was not much interested in cooking before marriage. My mother grandmother used to finish cooking by 7 am.Now I feel if I had learnt cooking from my grandmother I also would have been expert.

Now a days Music is so much important. When me and my sister also learnt music but when we were to learn keerthanam our music teacher went to get married and did not come back. I know some songs which if someone insists I sing for Navratri or any function. My two mannis and younger brother's wife are good in singing. Also their daughters.

Anyway no use repenting I am happy and contented in life for what I have achieved
Now a days Google is there to help

My mother is retiring this year. She also studied up-to 10th only. Soon after grandpa's death his govt job was ready to be given to the kin in the family. My mama had just joined state bank and periamma just married. So mom was in queue and she got that job. She was only 16 then. Then two years she waited learning short hand type writing etc. Then at 18 she joined. She'll turn 60 this year and retire happily as a supervisor. But she regrets and says if I was graduate I would have retired as an officer.

    But no regrets.

Your write up is very nice.

I went to a few colleges.
Forgot most things after a few years of work.
So I have to use Google; and Wikipedia.
People can know only a handful of things. Same pinch for X-std or College.
    So said a Tamil Poet.
And for the other things they have to use Google and Wikipedia.
