You know... I have some questions about tight hugs.
Especially in cultures where such things are only done in private, even between married couples, who are supposed to have TH (tight hug) anytime they want, especially when there is nobody looking. When all the children are grown up, married and left the parents to have their own life, and the parents are living by themselves, are there more TH situations for the couple ?

I live in a foreign country where we can hug and kiss the husband/wife in public. And nobody cares, except some husbands who are squeamish about public display of affections, called PDA in abbreviation. What is your opinion on being affectionate to a spouse in actions at home or in public ?

Rihana would be very happy if you can come out and participate in her thread too.

To tell you the truth I have not hugged anyone much. Some friends give a hug when they meet after a long time. I feel very shy to hug even if it is with my husband. I felt so happy with your compliments I felt about hugging. Especially in South Indians no.hugging in public. My husband does not show his love in public though.he is loving and caring

About Rihana's thread I dont remember much about my parents. My mother was a very simple person and my father used to take good care of her. .My father had to struggle a lot in life . He was not financially well off. My father died when I was 20 yrs. He used to share his worries with my elder sister and used to think me as a child. Those days giving gifts was not there. Sarees were bought only during Diwali. Now when we both sisters talk think of my father how he had to struggle to bring up the family and he never complained and how much facilities we have now a days.

My grandmother mother's mother was with.and grandmother used to cook.amd mother used to.assist her. They will finish cooking by 7 am in the morning. My mother.would serve us and then only they both will have.

In his last days he suffered from Cancer and I am happy I could take care of him. Since I was at home that time he wanted me only to look after him.

Dont know whether this is out of topic

This is the ONLY good post in this thread. If you think you would like that, go ahead and encourage your husband to hug you with whatever conversational tricks that is usually successful for you. Having a happy contact with someone we love is like a Tonic or Vitamin. For him as well as you.

Feeling closer is so sweet. Let us get together and have some fun. This thread is about children remembering how loving their parents were in words or actions with each other. If you have any ideas on this, feel free to tell us.
