    Hehe....sailing in same boat Anika...
I too have clothes which I used during college days and in nice condition...
I had disposed I.e donated many which had faded away or become very tight or very good fashioned to maid and retained some which are good...
I have most of my pre pregnancy clothes many of which do not fit me...but dint have the heart to give them away...pre preg days when I was working I had shopped a lot and I was much slimmer and could carry off good western clothes, fashionable casual and formal office wears and trendy ethnic Kurtis..
Post preg I'm home maker...and overweight...so shopped for some clothes with new size, got older ones altered by the neighborhood tailor...and as I dont have too much outside interactions I wear pyjamas tshirt at home , casual kurti tops for personal errands, shopping etc and grand ethnic clothes for outings...sarees for functions...hence many of my good clothes are not used so much that they would wear out and I'll give them away...
For working ladies situation will be different as theyve to dress neatly and fashionably with latest trends and usage will be more and need to update wardrobe regularly..but I'm not working now..

so I buy tops occasionally within 400 to 600 INR range ... but I dont invest that much in clothes these days, to avoid unnecessary spending and due to weight fluctuations due to health issues..being practical..also I should have hope in my mind that in future I'll lose weight and fit into smaller size clothes...life is all about hope isn't it...

In my 20s, I started off buying brands.. because I am very keen on cloth, style and finish. However, as I grew old I started also trying from tiny village shops and china shops. Sometimes these lasted better and looked better than the brands!..I got my lessons.
I also see that I maintaining them well. I still have clothes I bought 10-15 yrs ago.

I have sized up (1-2 sizes)over the years since marriage and the old clothes are still like new but I dont like hoarding them for the ' when I get back to that size again' day. I give them away to my mums helper for her daughters as they are still in small sizes.
Few I still have with me which fit. I only maintain around a fixed number of outfits because its hard to maintain many.

Now, I only buy IF I need and look for quality clothes. Big sales in brands or small self made shops...I am happy to put its value for quality but wont put just for the logo.

But I am still happy with the old ones and their quality, so not much buying.

Sometimes wish old clothes would worn out here..so it gives an opportunity to shop without guilt:)

These days if I shop, just like others “quality over quantity “..makes a world of Difference!

Also, where do you all get your clothes?

I like lord&Taylor,New York and company and sometimes Macy’s too

Most of my wardrobe is Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Talbots, and J Crew. Sometimes I buy from White House Black Market and Nordstrom.

I have found some nice dresses at our local Ross store as well.
