    Hi all,
    I am not pregnant.
I am having severe abdominal bloating. It's been there for last 4 days. And diarrhea started today. No abdomen pain though.
The feel of heaviness is making my stomach so upset and I don't feel like eating. I didn't eat much in the last 2 days. Just eating some toast and bananas.
The heaviness is more on the upper side of the stomach and my belly looks so bigger than usual.
I am belching more. I did take some gelusil and it gives relief for sometime.
I ate some restaurant food in the last week for 2 days. I don't know if that upsets my stomach.
Also, I was taking some NSAIDs (diclofenac and ibprufen) in the last few weeks. Taken diclofenac for a week and I got stomach pain. So the doctor told me to stop taking it. I was having fever and sore throat last week. So I have taken ibprufen for 2 days. After that, this bloating and heaviness started. It's so hard feeling in the upper abdomen. Anyone had like this?

Is this looks like gastric? Anyone have any home remedies ?

Fever can cause indigestion and lead to bloating.
    1) drink lemon juice, eat oranges , fruits which has vitamin C.
    2) have buttermilk with hing if you don't live in a cold place.
    3) drink Cumin, fennel, ginger infused warm water.
    4) avoid gluten, heavy food.
    5) eat kichadi ,idli, porridge, soup, steamed food at night.
    6) eat mint, cilantro chutney or thogayal with rasam.
Water is the elixer keep drinking water.
    Feel better.

I was just keeping up with toast. Don't feel like eating anything. And also I am avoiding diary products. Will try other herbal things mentioned here.

Ibprufen is not good for stomach. So try acetamenophen ( eg: thylenol).

Boil water with ginger and take it. Very useful for stomach issues.

Avoid diary, gluten, raw fruits or vegetables. Drink enough water ( use warm not cold water)

Try rice based foods ( like rice gruel) and well cooked food ( if you eat fish, baked one may be good for you ) that digests well.

Your issue may be due to fever. But if diarrhea continues for long, you have to consult doctor to explore more ( other ailments, ibd, ibs, lactose intolerance or other issues )
I hope you feel better soon.

    Thanks @DDream!!
Diarrhea stopped now. I have only the severe bloating, heartburn and am completely nauseated.
Feel like, it would be great if I throw up. Just sipping hot water throughout the day. Avoiding all the foods. Just having toast.
The bloating and nausea along with heartburn is keeping me up. The Google symptoms looks like GERD acid reflux. Not sure though.
Will try some more home remedies for 2 days and see.

NSAIds are hard on stomach and cause acid reflux, in some people. I do not take NSAIDs, since one time I had a bad reaction-stomach burning and pain, to it, so I write everywhere that I am allergic to NSAIDs.
I take Tylenol and hardly ever Ibuprofen. First one can be taken without food. Ibuprofen, has to be taken with little food and it is very useful to reduce inflammation, eg after fall, tooth extraction- where there might be swelling and pain. Don't take Ibuprofen for fever, since you have sensitive stomach. Never take NSAIDs.
The symptoms should go away. But the takeaway is that you are prone GERD and have sensitive digestive system. Try foods that do make you have so much of acid.
Never try peppermint, unlike what people say, it aggravates the problem
    Drink chamomile tea
    Avoid spicy food
Avoid the restaurant- where you ate last
Each salads like baby spinach, baby mixed greens
Keep trying food, and check- what is liked by your system and what makes your system go bonkers

Rice porridge (kangi) is very soothing to the stomach linings. and can help heal the stomach lining.
I used to take plain rice kanji with a dash of salt, if stomach is not too bad then add a little curd ( not sour)
Eat on time, and in smaller portions.
