Yes you can breastfeed while being pregnant. I got pregnant when my kid was 9months and I breastfed him until 32-35weeks(fairly)later milk supply got reduced and my baby weaned off by his own. So don’t worry u r fine..
In olden times women used to have 7-9kids in a row and kept breastfeeding without any problem.
Hope this helps... u can still ask ur obg/gyn the same. I asked mine and she answered it’s safe

Hi.. Answer is yes..you can breastfeed your baby through your pregnancy BUT its should not be any high risk pregnancy.

Some gynaec support bf during pregnancy and some don't . in my case, I was bfing my DD till she was 2.1years old, once I was pregnant again, I tried to continue bf but after 2 months I was not able to cope up. Starting feeling very tired and nausea. ( later came to know it was due to gestational diabetes) thought it was due to bf , so I just weaned her. BTW my gynaec was not supportive either (she is one of the best gynaec in chennai)
So if you are able to do it then pls bf your baby.. You can join breastfeeding support for Indian mothers bsim group in fb. They will guide you more on that.

As long as you want and are comfortable:)

There is a FB group "Breastfeeding support Indian mothers". It was very informative for me. You could check it if you like.

Considering your baby is almost 18 months you should see if she is showing any signs of weaning and start the process if you and her are ready . Just night time try diff techniques . Looks like it is for comfort and not for nutritional benefits at this age . See what will work to slowly get the toddler independent . It will be easier once you have new baby

I am sorry to hear that. Hugs to you. Hope you are feeling better now.

Can imagine how tough that must have been for your little one. I tried to Google the name of the medication and found contradictory info about it - hence didn't share here and confuse you. Hope you and kid were able to manage.
