    Hello all @Shanvy
This is a great thread and I come here often for ideas. This time popping in with a question:
I recently returned to using millets in my dosa and idly batter after a couple of years break. While rummaging in my pantry, I found some unused packets purchased some time back. Now I noticed that those packets are marked parboiled kodo and parboiled foxtail. ???? I was under the impression these are all raw dehusked millets. I managed to get some regular millets ( different brand) for soaking for my idly dosa which are not parboiled. How to use up these parboiled millets? Can I use them also in dosa/idly batter or are these reserved for some special use like pulav or pulihora? Please help. @Shanvy

Hi Shodin, happy new year! This place has indeed been rather quiet, hasn't it? Hope it gets revived soon.

Really colourful, Shodin. Yes, let us start posting again.

I have really slipped off the rails. Started with the two back to back ankle ligament tears last year and both our lifts being shut down. Stopped any activity or going to work then and all the weight piled on back again. Gave up and decided I did not want to go through the punishing weight loss process again. But now bad osteoarthritis in my knee and back pain have forced my hand again and have motivated to get started again - this time with IF. Just started 2 days ago. Today is the third. Doing the 16:4 pattern.
