    Why? See Something; Say Something -- campaign of the US government should be blamed for all the internet participation in social media forums.

    Again, let me emphasize: "Food for thought". It's not about "refuting" you. Your opinions reflect your mindset and attitudes or, perhaps mood. I have no stake in it.

    Let's parse what is going on here. I am interested in that.
    "Eggs" + "special" => creepy.
    That's the equation. OP puts 'eggs' in quotes, the responder puts 'special' in quotes. Just two words. Leading to inference, opinions, and adjectives over numerous posts.

    What is that mental process by which these two words become creepy? Does the word "egg", when used by a man, automatically suggest prurience? Or voyeurism? An invasion of 'female space'? Can men not speak of "eggs" and "fertilization" and "infertility"? Admittedly the procedures are punishing to women physically, psychologically, and socially - but, do men not have a stake in children? As fathers? Or even brothers or friends? As husbands watching helplessly as their wives go through enormous suffering for the two of them to have a family? Quite simply as educated adults? Let's not forget, Robert Edwards and Patrick Steptoe were both men. I am sure they spent a good part of their waking hours talking about "eggs" as they labored to make them "special".

    Why is it "creepy"? That's what I'm trying to understand.

    We could have a poll.
    Move on versus Sit on it until it hatches.
    This is where it is at.

    Plain ordinary things, when moved within quotes, can take on nuanced meanings, as well as garner attention.
