May be I am not getting what she is trying to convey but my read of that member is, she is way too off in understanding social scene of her kids or in interpreting fellow posters’ posts. @BhumiBabe has lot of patience :)

I am wondering why @Sunshine04 thanked that post :).

Ok girls....with lot of frustration i used that phrase . i think people hear are very... very... too much good persons so that they are not able to understand my phrase.

any how i want to get rid of confusion.
when u see/hear some thing abnormal or things hated, people will put irritate expression with their eyebrows and nose together. my FIL having long nose. so when he enters into matter of house, he puts irritated face which make looks like his nose come much forward than normal. so i used that phrase because it irritates me alot.

no, i am not too off as you say in understanding things said directly or indirectly or the social scene. one does not need to have degree in rocket science in understanding such things. you were very hurt it seems about socially awkward comment. i chose to ignore it and you need to understand more about the social scene it seems ..as a man or a dad, you shoudl know that grown up woman dont share much information with men in family and definitely share more with moms or females, especially sharing sensitive information that a man on teh date was effeminate or socially awkward.

when other poster said that may be her kids are single because i insisted on meeting my friends son on his meet with our daughter, it was too much. that was a direct insult and blame on teh parents. do some people on thsi forum blame a woman's parents for a woman's status of being single or a divorcee. and i don't care about like or no likes on a post. At this age, we don't care much.

In America boy-friends are (shown on TV shows and movies to be) scared of meeting the girl's parents. Her father might be ex-marine, and own guns. [if desi, he may be an accountant, SW-guy, or NFL-aficionado, who wants to talk]. Her mother could be a grim battle-axe, and would convey the strong hint re. what the boy will have that to look forward to across the breakfast table in a couple of decades.

Usually the girl would know when she had accumulated enough affection-points with the boy, so that he could spend some of it in a visit to "the parents", and still want to see her (the girl) again.

All of this messing about has no specific black mark against any one specific mummy. On the other hand, there could be hot mummies that the girls are afraid to introduce their boy-friends to. She could be hot in the body or the brains or both -- and the impressionable young thing may fall for her.

    Life is full of complications.

Hahaha... at the risk of a spell-fixer casting aspersions on a love life, we cannot call @Reesha feckless*..

*adjective: lacking initiative or strength of character

I have no need to win points.

I don't care for such things any longer.

I just don't understand why you are publicly villifing someone for something you do too.

At least he believes in public forums and peoples participation in them .
Why do you read threads you do not participate in or ask people to spend less time on IL when you are yourself here like them .You do the same and accuse others like it is a crime .

You have problems with him ,report him.
If you have proof...show it to admin.
Or confront him...why make such random accusations.

A lot of people don't agree with what you do too but prefer not to voice it in public too.

    I don't understand the hypocrisy.
And I don't understand the holier than thou attitude, that's all.

I just voiced my opinion because not many people dare to voice their opinion against your opinion .
You seem to have some kind of clout.
But I no longer care for such things.
