    Dear Caughtinbetween and others
Thanks a lot for your nomination of Mental Health Of Parents With Special Needs Kids by @Laks09
I do not have it in me to respond to such an emotional post. I read it and sat engulfed by a deadly vacuum. I salute the parents of these special children.
I would like to tell you about Karthik, a young man with special needs. He was a contestant in the recently concluded Music contest Sa Re Ga Ma Pa of Zee Tamil. He won the second Prize of rs. 5 lakhs. He has been selected to offer his debut song in a movie. See him singing assisted by his mother:

I would like to nominate the post of @sanjuruby3 in the thread "
Family Friends Terminated Relationship And I Am Confused How To Deal".

The post brings out the situation where a married (stay-home-wife) woman loses her friends because her husband contrives to be rude to them and manages to have them severe all connections with his wife. And yet, the woman has to be an apologist for her husband, (because he is the daddy to her kids, and is presumably the family's "provider" as well) and she is confused whether she has an independent life or not.

This is a post that describes a sad situation in the genre of sad situation that many young women are stuck in --- compromising their own personality, and happiness because they don't see a way out, and many do not even see the need for a way out.

Such an inspiration and so heart touching. Hats off to their family for identifying such a talent and helping him to learn.
