Have You Ever Seen Karma On Those That Have Treated You Badly When Married?

    this is just part of normal growing up.

    My religion says, bad karma (if it exists) is all about intentional harm - by wishing/uttering/doing hurtful things on someone. This goes in conflict with 'the ends justify the means' - meaning, if one person is subjected to unjustified pain for the sake of the well being of the rest of the family, it is 'okay'.

    Education and logical thinking would mean freeing oneself from such situations (for eg, getting a divorce, refusing to be the one man army in the kitchen) braving the consequences; which goes against the traditional conditioning that one has to endure it till all your past life bad karma has been accounted(and then your marriage will suddenly become so full of love).

    Yes... it's been said that it is a coping mechanism here in this thread and elsewhere as well; certainly a healthier one than anti-depressants. How giant the coping mech. needs to be would depend on how big a bear of a depression it is. [why is Bear bad, but Bull is good ?] When Goldilocks hits a shitty patch of life, she would choose a coping mech. that is just right. Whatever it is. And then, live to fight another day.
