Jatamansi is available on Amazon. I found dried Hibiscus flowers in Amazon and middle eastern stores.Athimadhuram powder (licorice root),Black Pepper, Methi seeds, Tea, Coffee, Curry leaves, Shikakai, Amla, Kalonji (black seed), Ginger, Beetroot and beetroot leaves, henna, indigo, methi powder, tulsi leaf powder, neem leaf powder, bhingraj powder are easily available in Indian stores. Maruvam (sweet marjoram) is available in organic grocery stores like Jimbo's and Whole foods. You can find pomegranates at any grocery store.I could not find davanam, vetiver and dried Hibiscus leaves...but hey I bought a hibiscus plant from Home depot and is growing really well,I now have access to fresh hibiscus leaves and flowers :)

You can use the fresh pomegrante peels after enjoying the fruit. You can skip using davanam and vettiver and just use Maruvam. All these ingredients are very good for the hair and skipping a few doesn't matter when you make the best use of the rest.Good luck!

The thing is initially when I buy something I am little excited to try but later on I get bored and lazy to try :confounded:
I bought few things for my hair pack / oil but I’m lazy to utilise them.
So I hesitate to buy new things.

I know tats bad but Damn me :smilingimp:
Wish we were neighbours @kveena :grinning:

Potpourri <== linked to wikipedia page.
This is available in many stores in USA and Canada as well as online shops. They are dried flowers, and incense items. All of vegetable origin. We usually buy them to put them in dresser-drawers and closets so that the clothes smell nice. This can also be ground (use cleaned spice grinder) to make fine powders that can go into hairpacks. A very simple way to make hairpacks is to mix the powder with acrylic* hair gel and apply. Wait an hour, then wash off. Make sure you have a fine mesh sink particle catching filter -- otherwise, frequent use of such powder packs will clog your sink.

The addition of the many kitchen pantry items of desi cuisine (e.g., curry leaf powder, methi powder, tulsi leaf powder, etc..) might give the desi-hair the distinct aroma of having done a shift in a desi grocery stores as shelf stacker. That said, individual tastes vary... no?

*verify to make sure that you are not allergic to hair styling gels.

Ok never mind, utilize what you have and then switch to something else. I was like you few years ago until it got too bad that I had to be consistent.
