    Competitive tendencies come naturally to one when they are thinking collectively as a team, have no differences among themselves and make a sincere effort to win the match as opposed to retaining reputation as fast scoring batter. World ranking means nothing unless there is competitiveness. The whole country was blaming that the middle order and tail are weak, a concern for the Indian team. Finally, in a crunch game, it was the middle order and tail that played well when all the reputed players who has world ranking and records disappeared in a trice. The answer we get from the front line batters is "their bowlers are unplayable". Aren't they the world's best batters at least on paper and how can bowlers become unplayable? They can either be the best in the world or they are not.
