So true . Ok for nighty but no night dress in front of inlaws I hate wearing nighties! So in front of inlaws wear only salwar and kurta and after all work wear night dress finally
Allow daughters to wear modern outfits but DIL should wear only traditional dresses like saree or salwar and become one sanskaari bahu Why should inlaws control what DIL should wear ? After all it’s her choice !!
I put on a smile and say as sweetly as my nature permits "Please could you take off your shoes here?" I have even placed a stool there for them to sit when taking off and putting on their shoes.
I cannot resist ..Mine goes like this.... (I think) I like, cooking. If I cook when my relatives mostly of my age are here, just to get a feel of apnapan (you know what I mean)... in which constitution it is written that I AM ALSO EXPECTING YOU TO COOK WHEN I COME YOUR HOME .. And my jaw dropped when I was told by the so-called-relatives-of-my-age in my kitchen that I am over doing and other people expect her also to do the same. I thought it is as simple as .. I do whatever I want to do(at my place) and you do whatever you want to do(at your place) but a big NOOOO... I am not sure if anyone DARED to tell them with this attitude.. Did anyone faced this ?
