You could start with singing...even if someone sees you it will not look odd. You could sing happy songs or bhajans....
See if you can get a reaction from your little one...

I felt my 1st one move more every time I had coconut water.I felt my younger one move and kick every time I listened to melodies. My son would gently knock my tummy and say a hello and the little one responded with a kick during my last stages of pragnancy.

One of friend’s husband made sure to talk to his unborn son by reading stories everyday just to feel him move around. These are sweet memories to cherish!

Enjoy these moments. There is no rule on what to talk. Talk like you are pampering a baby, call pet names, sing, up update what mamma/pappa is doing, anything is fine . Be happy, positive and pleasant. Read good books and listen to good music.Be very relaxed. Moms mental or emotional state can influence babies in womb.

In my case, I took time (>20 weeks) to recognize baby is movements. The first time it was like waves touching the walls of the pond. Slowly it became prominent and very noticeable . Second time I could recognize it earlier. I have noticed that my baby was active mostly in the evening. The kicks were very noticeable and different when my dh talk. My dh used to talk to him/ her everyday (sweet little things). I felt like baby in the womb can distinguish voices or sounds. Those memories are still fresh in my mind. I realize the story of Abhimanyu and Subhadra may be based on this.

Babies Listen and Learn While in the Womb : May be interesting

As we dont have previous experience its not easy to identify the kick during first pregnancy as its weak, the bubble hitting our womb wall kind of feeling before 20 weeks ( lot of fluid for a small body) . But it became noticeable after 20-24 weeks, no need to concentrate. As baby grows, it is quite noticeable. During my second pregnancy I could notice it earlier due to experience. I think you may have to wait for a few more weeks.

Currently going viral is this baby talk video. Baby is 18 months old. So cute!
The overall take-home lesson seems to be that you talk in normal mode [ like kveena's book-reading dH] & not cutesify your talk to the baby....whether in or out.
