As foretold by the wise Oracle of Matrix, here comes #TheOne! HaikuBot and Micropoems. Inspiration... There is this "poem.exe" #TwitterBot that generates haiku-like poems reading the English translations of haikus by Kobayashi Issa, pre-fed into the system. The poems are in microform, something like this: a good world completely unaware of years past The bot automatically updates the Twitter handle with poems it generates. Now and then some gems do pop up, it's fun really. That IL is a warehouse of words caught my thoughts. So many probabilities here, to generate our own indigenous random awesomeness, right? Hence the idea. Drumroll, please! (Contd.)
The Idea... I randomly scrapped the Let's Fire Up Those Neurons! -- Puzzle Index for the bot's first-word soup. Sample Outcome(s): Hmmmm, getting the idea here? Some others I liked (Note: each text box is a separate poem): Randomly political too! (Each text box is a separate poem) I don't know much about the first but I'm sure over the moon about Modi's win indeed! (Contd.)
To add depth, I scrapped some recent poems by RGS, namely: Parallel World! | Gift! | Oh No! | I Smile! The Hunted! | Melted! | Precious! What Else? | Ball Of Light! | Spotted! Results (Note: each text box is a separate poem): I like the abstractions, leaves only so much to the reader's imagination. Few more (each text box is a separate poem): I got more curious and tried to include (words from) Space Series By Kkrish -- Index into the mix, together with the Neuron Indexes and RGS poems. (each text box is a separate poem): Not great ones maybe...but good job still? (Contd.)
After fine tuning the bot a bit... Some others I liked (Note: each text box is a separate poem): Some texts were profound much within the micro context of the poem verses (or I so thought) if you get what I mean... (Each text box is a separate poem):
Some #Lolz. Like a romcom movie script. Bride/Groom ditched the other at the altar and the crowd returned home. This! Political again.... Second row: I agree with the bot about Gandhi. First box about his election campaign promises and the latter about the news of his defeat this time? Lol. Not necessarily means anything that but interpret as you will! And to end with... This is about... yours truly? Kidding. : )
Anywayzzz the bot is online already. After all those samples, this is its first tweet choice. "Awesomeness of randomness", did I say? #DealwithIt. Lol. The point? Nothing really, just me having some silly fun. And? I'm collecting the tweets in a document to analyze and visualize later. After 1000 tweets maybe. I wish to try with Tamil poems too. Before anything fix this bot some more. Include more words for it shuffle and generate varied combinations. Another day, another time.
I just spammed the thread I guess! IL wouldn't allow more than 5 attachments per post, so gotta split them into parts.
#EnglishMatters! When you misunderstand words, write a book on the wrong context but unaware until pointed out live on air? If you had missed the story... Here’s an Actual Nightmare: Naomi Wolf Learning On-Air That Her Book Is Wrong!
#SaturdaySilliness ...continued! #TwitterBot-3, this time: Mistt's My Random Snopshots! thread. I downloaded the pictures from the thread (hope she doesn't mind) and extracted the gradients for each image, a supermassive list of color codes that is even after removing the duplicates. The idea is to generate new palettes from the list with all color combinations possible. Something like this... ...random and nonrepeating for each (automated) tweet to be posted. Further, we can (re)use the generated palettes in other design projects however suitable. I added the squares for the colors then wondered if circles would be better..... Trying it all, I got distracted I guess, these shapes mashups happened instead. Looked funkier to me than the original idea that was kinda basic, so let the bot generate more "artsy" samples for me. (Each image is a single output, I just collaged them for convenience). #pi-K-azzzo! Lol. Accidental, but I like the way it is. Maybe tweak the code to generate beautified results, something more meaningful and try a variety of custom drawn shapes (it's only circles, rectangles, and polygons right now obviously) and add animations to the same, etc, etc. ...Until then, the bot will live on Twitter "spitting out" random ghostly patterns. (There is a loss in image quality when updating on Twitter, don't know why. Yet to figure that out). The code works with any color codes. I just like to play with IL data. A lot of things on IL gets me curious like that, #chARTz and #Botz have only given interesting results here (I believe). So whatever. More botzZz to come... Cheers!
@Gauri03 Okay a personal question. That avatar me up there? I wanna get off that millennial look to next phase of life or something. Where do I start? Suggest me wardrobe changes please.
