Thanks for those comments. Lets see the journey of these girls in their life. Few more plots yet to be introduced.

 

Episode 11:
Chandrika has made her mind and told her :” Chitti, this is ICU. Please see Appa and don’t talk much to him. Not more than one visitor is allowed to visit the patient at this time as this is not usual visitor’s time.”

Sivakami turned her face and Chandrika took it in a light way and told her father, “Appa, I will meet the doctor and update you. No worries. She will be alright soon. She is upset by looking at you in this shape.”

When Chandrika went outside, she saw Chiranjeevi (Chiru) standing outside the ICU and she told him, :”Chiru, once chitti comes back, you can go and see Appa(Father)”

Chiranjeevi did not have much respect for her as an elder sister nor a girl because of his mother’s influence and his mind polluted with vengeance and partiality taught by her mother. She has always seeded his mind with a negative impression about Chandrika that she will separate them from their father, while their younger sister does not understand things much but listens to her mother. She liked Chandrika as an elder sister and wants to study like her. She did not like the way her brother and mother treats their father and sister, but at times with no other option, she will be forced to surrender to them or leave the place.

Chiranjeevi did not respond to Chandrika and turned his face aside for which Chandrika did not care much. She approached towards the hospital reception while Nandita returned back after finishing a phone call.

Nandita : “Chandu, I spoke to Appa and on his enquiry, looks like Dr.Chid Vilas is really good and in this young age, he has actually given very good results on his Surgeon career and has gained very good name within short period. She explored her mobile and showed the feedback and reviews about Dr.Chid Vilas. She has explored a lot in the web on many sites like Practo, Hospital Names where his achievements in the short period was updated. There were also good reviews provided by many patients post their treatment on his treatment, hospitality, respectful nature towards elders.

Nandita: “Hey , look at this comment chandu”

They looked in to and it was from a young girl as, “I came for my father’s treatment and
Dr.Vilas was really good and her father was discharged within a week post his surgery. She highlighted that her Father’s heart problem is solved and he is absolutely fine. But her heart was stolen by the Smart, Cool doctor who seeded his thoughts for all time in her mind with a Smiley nearby her comments.”

Nandita read that and told “Chandu, hmm… It’s really true that he will steal all girls hearts for sure by his looks and features and this is why you want to stick on to this doctor itself”

Chandu :” hey, common, I just felt a comfort and confidence when I met him and hence don’t want to change for any other hospital. And now madam, this is not the time for teasing and my father is still in bed. Yet, I have responsibilities from my end to be fulfilled and am still not clear in certain areas to proceed further. It’s both on Appa’s health and personal front.”

Nandita:” Hey, Chill… I just wanted to divert your mood. Sorry, I did not mean to hurt you by any chance”, she changed to a apologizing face.

Chandu: “Nandu, It’s ok. Come on. I never meant to respond in a way to hurt you da. I just expressed by feelings.”

They understood each other and with all this talks they neared the reception to enquire for the next appointment for Dr. Vilas. Once they approached, a young girl ran towards her

“Akka, you are here. What happened to Appa?”, her eyes outpoured the tears she had and Chandrika hugged her back with love and care.

Chandu :”Hey, Chaaru, I never knew that you are here and thought Chiru and Chithi alone has come. I could not also enquire about you. “

Charu: “Akka, First tell me what happened to Appa. Amma was cursing you as usual all the way in the car. I closed my eyes and pretended as If I was sleeping. Chiranjeevi was also irritated by her words for nonstop talking, but not talking about you.”

Chandu: ”It’s ok Charu ma. These are not new to me and usual one right. Appa will be fine soon. He needs more care and affection now than quarrels. It’s good that you have also come and have a hand for me. Come, let’s go.”

Charu :”Wait Akka, I will bring our bags and come” and she ran towards the chairs placed in the reception where they have kept their bags. Her chitti has brought bags dumped with food items, flask, basic things for a hospital need and she tried to take everything together. For her brought up from the Village side, though she went to school, they had the high end facilities available for them for their status in the town they were staying, they still had a bit of village side mentality and were hesitant to face the city life. Charu was in her 12th standard, cute looking with two plats tied with her plats put on her front side. She has pinned Duppata on both sides that got stuck under the chair when she tried to pull everything together. Her dress got torn a bit by her pull which Chandrika helped and she took the bags. They both along with Nandita to the room allocated for them after fixing their next appointment with Doctor.

Nandita was teasing her Sister :”In which world are you in small girl? You are still pinning your Duppata and see look how the whole world is. I will take you to the city round and make you see this world. Still in your urban world”, she told that with a care for her to understand the world and look at the world with a confidence.

Charu liked Nandita very much for her love and care she showed towards her.

Chandu : “Hey Charu, this girl will corrupt you. Don’t listen to this girl for everything”

Nandita : “Hmm… what is this? You are giving a negative impression about me, what would charu think about me?”

Charu :” Akka, no worries, I can understand you and my sister too. I also wish to look the city life.”

Nandita: “Hmm.. I am here for just another two weeks. But will ensure I will show you the whole city” and Charu clutched her hands with Nandita and they approached towards the room.

When they crossed the room, there was an accident case approaching the reception with a girl being pulled in a stretcher. It was a hit and run by a car and she was soaked in blood. Chandrika pulled Charu aside avoiding her to see that as she might fear looking at them.

Episode 12:
When they crossed the room, there was an accident case approaching the reception with a girl being pulled in a stretcher. It was a hit and run by a car and she was soaked in blood. Chandrika pulled Charu aside avoiding her to see that as she might fear looking at them.


As said, Charu was frightened looking at the way they took off the girl in stretcher towards the CCU unit in a hurry. It was completely new to Charu and her face depicted a frightened face looking at the scene. Somehow Chandrika managed and brought Charu to see her father. By then, her step mom Sivakami was coming outside the ICU. She requested the security and took Charu inside to make her see their father. Chakravarthy felt happy seeing her younger one and Charu looked at him with a sorrowful face.


Charu : “What happened Appa(Father)?. You have gone so dull and controlled her grief to see him in such state.”

Chakravarthy liked both his daughters and Charu was his only happiness at home to see her around when the home situation turns worse due to sivakami’s infuriating behavior at times.


Chakravarthy held his hand on her head and said , “Charu ma, don't worry dear. I will be home soon. Listen to Akka and be with her for any help.”

Charu :”Sure , Appa, you don’t have to say that to me and I will be with her.”

Chakravarthy : “Chanduma, I could not lift my left hand not move my left leg. Please talk to the doctor, I am feeling a bit worried ma.”

Chandrika face covered a ray of infirmity which she had towards her father and she was helpless and was trying hard inside her mind on how to answer his question and handle the situation.


Chandrika somehow managed, “Sure appa, I will talk to him and see what could be the problem.” Though not convinced, chakravarthy has to listen to her at this point of time. The Nurse came nearer and said, “Madam, Since you are here for past two days, I allowed you. But, No one is actually allowed inside ICU but for the visiting hours. Please…”, she said in a requesting way and Chandrika understood and said ,”Yeah., I can understand sister. Thanks for your help”


Chandrika started outside and charu followed her. When they came outside, Chiranjeevi and her chithi were waiting for the moment to find a fault and fight with her.


Chiranjeevi : “Hello”, he said in a scorching tone ,” What did Dr said and what is the condition of Father now, Mom wanted to know.? Is this a good hospital, can’t we change him some where else?”


Chandrika : “ I will directly answer Chithi itself “ and she continued in a commanding tone, “ What’s your problem, Father or Myself ? For whatever it is, I am going to be here only and am not going to leave him. I just informed you for the sake that you should be known about his health condition. “


Sivakami : “Hmmm..”, she raised her voice in a compelling tone and her face changed. She continued, “You are the cause for everything and now you are trying to overrule me. All these changes are due to the over space given by your father.”


Chandrika continued controlling her anger, but her voice was stern, “Will you stop lamenting like this in Hospital. Don’t you care for your husband? But, I care for my father. Here also, you are much concerned about unwanted issues. Don’t you have any positive thoughts for him to recover and come back soon? “


Sivakami kept quiet and Charu turned to her mom:” Mom, I am ashamed of you. What’s your problem and this uncle (Sivakami’s Brother) has poisoned your mind with such venomous thoughts leaving your basic character. You don’t care for Appa and your thoughts are always planted with hatred thoughts towards Akka. I hate you.”


Sivakami somewhat felt embarrassed on her act, but still not leave her ego and responded to Charu : “ You little demon, stop it. From where did u learnt to talk like this?”


Charu : “You stop it. All, I learnt from you only. Now listen to Akka. She knows better than you. This is hospital, and you don’t know how to behave in a public place.”


Chiranjeevi who was listening everything raised his hand towards charu, “Hey, how dare you are talking to Amma like this? You are spoilt by her?” and he stared at Chandrika.

Hearing the quarrel from a distance, Dr. Chid Vilas raised his voice from the adjacent room , “Sister, What’s happening there ? What’s Quarrel near the ICU? “. He poked his head outside to see chandrika’s family outside; he stared at them for a moment and went inside.


Chandrika continued: “Please understand with patience and don’t stop me in between. Appa is now out of danger though he got a mild attack. Due to high pressure, he had got a mild stroke and his left leg and left hand does not have much movement now. Doctor has advised for Physio and our care and affection is more needed now for him to recover soon. Post which we need to decide on surgery for him”

Sivakami : ” What operation ? Stroke ?”, and she murmured again as “It’s all because of you and you only” .

Chandrika got irritated, but this time she kept quiet and signed “Sh……Sh….. Sh….” towards her step mom. “Chitti, please keep quiet, this is hospital and don’t continue like this as this is not our home. To the extent, we cooperate, Appa will become alright soon. “.

She continued overruling her not giving space for her to talk at all , “Whether you care for your husband or not, I do so for my Father. If you continue to behave like this, please start to our home town soon and I will take care of him”.

The Nurse from the ICU came outside and she came towards Sivakami. For no reason, Sivakami feared for her voice and turned aside avoiding her to see face to face.

Nurse came towards Sivakami:” Hello”, she waved her hand in front of Sivakami’s face.

Sivakami had a layer of fear looking at her stout appearance in the white Pinafore she was wearing along with white socks covering her whole leg and the white cut shoes. Sivakami imagined for a moment about the nurse raising her leg to kick her and she mimed a fearful face and moved back.

Nurse :” What’s this madam? From the time you came inside the hospital, you are quarrelling with this girl. You know for the past two days, since she admitted her father, she was not well, crying alone, did not had any food. At least, today, she refreshed and seems to be ok. After getting a confidence that her father is recovering and will be fine soon, she at least went to refresh herself. She should not have called you at all. But you do keep on find some fault with her and curse her since you came”

Sivakami did not answer anything and stayed quiet. The Nurse lady continued , “Whatever it is , it’s your personal. But when it comes to disturbing the peace at atmosphere, mind it, I will not let you in to this space itself.”

Chandrika asked her to sit in the waiting area for ICU separately and asked her, “You can wait here Chithi and I will meet the Doctor and come back.” Now Sivakami has got no other go and silently went to the place she pointed and asked Charu , “ Bring the bags”. By then she was already ready with the bags.

Chandrika turned to Chiranjeevi and asked, “Will you come with me ?”, she asked him for which , “No, I am not coming. You go and come.” and started to explore his phone.

Sivakami pulled him , “Don’t you have any respect or care for your father’s health? See , she is a girl and taking all initiatives and steps to move further with father’s treatment and you”, she bit her teeth and pulled him again to go with her.

Nandita was watching all the scene and she understood the real background of chandrika’s family and the truth behind her father keeping her separate. She thought for sure, they would not have made her live in peace.

Chandrika, Nandita and went to Doctor’s room and Chiranjeevi followed them.

Chandrika went to Vilas room and Nurse waiting outside asked, “Patient Chakravarthy”

Chandrika nodded and replied, “Yes, our father” and she told them to go inside the room.

Vilas welcomed them with a smiling face and asked them to take the seat in front of his desk. Nandita looked at his face and did not take eye off from him. He was wearing a micro checked blue shirt with a formal Navy Blue trouser. He was looking damn smart, neatly shaven. He was looking at his reports and gone cross them sheet by sheet.

 

Episode 13:

Vilas welcomed them with a smiling face and asked them to take the seat in front of his desk. Nandita looked at his face and did not take eye off from him. He was wearing a micro checked blue shirt with a formal Navy Blue trouser. He was looking damn smart, neatly shaven. He was looking at his reports and gone cross them sheet by sheet.

She raised his face and Chandrika was sitting in front of him. She was looking different this time for him as she had refreshed, changed her clothes and had positivity in her face. He also looked at Chiranjeevi who was standing beside her.

Vilas : “Hmm… As I Said earlier, Physio has to continue for a week, will see how he progress and I hope there should be a good improvement if he co-operates. Once, he is fine, we will proceed with the surgery.” His health is normal now and nothing to worry. It’s better to go with the surgery as it is a must. But taking some time should not be a problem.”

Chandrika was convinced with his speech.

Chandrika : “Dr, how long do we need to stay in the hospital? Can we do the physio at home if possible?”

Vilas smiled : “You are worried about the hospital bills”
Chandrika : “No, Doctor. I am worried about the environment. Now itself, he is asking me to enquire about the numbness and I have to convince him. More over, there were some emergency cases coming and I don’t want him to get disturbed by those scenes.”

Vilas : “It’s fine. You can discharge him in another 2 days. Let’s see how he responds and you can bring him for a check up later, may be next week. I will inform the team”

Chandrika :” “Thank you very much doctor”

He smiled and they left the room. There was neither curiosity nor any kind of eagerness found in Chiranjeevi face to know about his father’s health nor any interest in sharing the burden of Chandrika to bring back his father’s health state to normal.

When they left the room, Dr.Chid Vilas also stood up to start and he received a call to pick it up. Chandrika, Nandita and Chiranjeevi started and left the room.

Before they completed the pathway where Doctor’s appointment rooms were located, Chiranjeevi was found nowhere and already left the place.

Nandita : “Now , I understood why your father was keeping you away from these people. Charu is sweet and your step mom; she is a real night mare. My real worry is how you are going to stay with them. I wish you should also have written GRE and we could have joined in the same university.”

Chandrika : “Yes, Nandu, Though father use to say me some stupid reasons or avoid my travel to home town, I did not understand. Still, I use to go to my native to be there with them. I have not felt any closeness with them, but for Charu. Now, I understand that because of father’s presence, they use to be quiet and their real colours of their thoughts about me were revealed now.”

She continued, “See, how spoilt he is to have brought up by my Chithi. He does not care for father at all and how can I rely on them for anything. Though, they did not have any affection for me, I thought they should have it towards him, but it’s upside down. Just for the sake of him to be rich landlord, they are not supposed to look at his money alone. That’s not real care.”

Nandita : “Chandu, All of these are surprises to me. They were a lot behind you, but you use to be calm and quiet. You did not burst nor raised a self pity at any point of time with me too. I feel guilty to have not been beside you.”

Chandrika : “Hey, Many things are new to me itself. But, I can understand the words of my father which was provided as advises to me earlier. He always wanted me to be bold, to face any situation, to fight for my right as his daughter. At the same time, he advised me a lot about human values, mercy towards others, should always be pious and should not be head storm because I am rich. He always wanted me to be loving people around me, helping others and a lot more. He use to say that my mom use to be like that and he sees my mom in me.”

Nandita held her hand and clupped her palm with hers and said, “Don’t worry dear. Things will move fine and before I leave, I am sure, you will be fine by all means.”

Chandrika : “I know Nandu. Thanks for being with me da. It’s a big moral support to me. Think nandu, In case, I am also would not have been here with Appa, who would have taken care of him.”

Nandita: “Don’t confuse yourselves dear. Things will be fine soon.” And they continued to walk to reach the end of the corridor pathway to see a poster showing the pictures of surgeons and their success stories and a thankful note on them for the growth of the hospital.

Dr.Chid Vilas was also seen smiling with his teeth wide and Nandita: “Chandu, see there, no doubt, he is smart among all those doctors right.”

Chandrika: “For sure, because all others are of very old age. But, in short time, he has proved with many success stories it seems”

They turned to the right to climb down the steps towards the stair case and Nandita turned to step down first followed by Chandrika. For a moment, Vilas face flashed in her mind and unknowingly, she took a step backward to look at Vilas room and Vilas also peeped out his room to check the end of the corridor. Chandrika turned immediately, blushed and smiled to herself. She immediately turned and proceeded, but her mind ordered her back for the same action and took another step back and turned to see the room again. Yes, it happened and Vilas again peeped out to check the corridor and she immediately turned and took the steps to come to reception. Dr. Vilas too smiled and went inside his room again thinking to himself “What happened to me ?Why am I doing this?”

When they reached downstairs, a guy was rushing over there, “Excuse me, Where is the Emergency care unit?”, he was in panic state and in height of tension.

Chandrika was now used to the hospital and directing him to the emergency care. He was followed by a middle aged couple who were walking in anxiety.

The lady was crying: “I am worried a lot. Why is this happening to us?” and her husband was consoling him “Don’t worry ma, Think positive, she will be alright soon. Let’s pray god”.

The Guy checked in the Emergency care and two guys were standing outside there. One of them approached the new guy , “Are you related to Vidhya.?”

The guy responded “Yes, I am her brother Vimal. What happened? How is she now?”, his face was very tensed and his sweating body showed his nervousness to know what has happened to his Sister.

The guy responded: “It was a hit and run by a car. It did not even stop, we found her bag with her College ID and called your house.”

By then, their parents who followed them were also there. The Mother over heard about the accident and she just lied on the wall and sat down and started to cry. Her husband consoled her, “Vasuma, come on, nothing will happen to Vidhya. Lets see what doctor says. We have not done any harm to anyone and please console yourself.”

Vimal : “Mom, come on, please keep quiet” and turned towards those guys and asked, “What did Doctor say?”

Those two guys, “We were waiting for an update. They are treating her inside the trauma care and we called your residence by then.” They handed over a bag and a cover to Vimal, these were seen with your sister, by the time she crossed the road, this accident happened. She was careful but somehow this happened in flash of seconds and the car flew away like a jet.”

Her Mother : “Oh, God, why such thing to happen on her birthday.” And she closed her mouth with her saree pallu and could not control crying and lied on the wall nearby.
