    (4) and (5) are extreme confrontations. There's another sly altercation (6) The person denies of any aberration in their communication.

Call them up to clear any misunderstanding -- 'hmm, have I been silent with you. I didn't realize it. Am I?'

That gaslighting in which the called denies of the existence of any problem on a forthcoming caller. It's not shame or vulnerability for having made a call but spurn on the existence of the problem. Amusing turn of event! How does one feel on being the first to have made a call only to hear of no acknowledgement of even the problem.

Is that good or bad? Not (1) or (2) or (3) but a 1.2.3 of the person positively responding in a snap of above-turned face of even the existence of a problem.

This is turning out to be a hybrid case study of viji's eager caller and rihana's uncritical acker. ("there is no problem, you are delusional!")

I feel this (6) the most baffling, funny and thrown-off when the called gaslights the caller.

Senseless environmental crime, killing of innocent people by sending them to Siberia, oppression of people through dictatorial ruling of the country, creation of loyal Oligarchs, cyber attack on western countries, capturing territories from unsuspecting neighboring countries, invasion of the entire country, blackmailing the world leaders, money laundering, merciless execution of enemies through poisonous gas in foreign territory and what else is missing in the resume?

I hope it is not due to the person being Bipolar or having multiple personality disorder. If it is done intentionally to confuse the vulnerable to manipulate their mind, it is clear aggression perhaps, that is the only one that may qualify to be outside the scope of vulnerability risk one could take.

Here's a little chemical toxicology for your resumé Viswa!
I do not know of cases where Russia has used poison gas in a foreign country. A gas would involve unacceptable collateral damage. Chechen terrorists did use gas in Russia. The Novichok agents, assuming that the Salisbury poisoning is what you're referring to, are binary nerve agents, usually manufactured as ultrafine powders. They can be solubilized or dispersed as gas, but one of their toxic virtues is that they are very stable and non-volatile. They do not evaporate easily, which is why neighbors of the target victims fell ill weeks (?) later. Left undisturbed, they can hang around for years, remaining lethal. Choose your agents wisely, Chemical-V!

Understood the lesson now. I thought it happened due to inhalation and hence declared it as nerve gas. Can anyone of these solutions prevent such deaths?

No. Think of it this way: it's a competition. The nerve agent is trying to enter your body, by inhalation or contact, find its target, usually the acetylcholinesterase** enzyme and bind to it while the air-purifier is trying to suck molecules out of the air. The binding affinity of the agent for its target protein/enzyme is very, very high. An agent in the air can kill you in minutes with a lethal dose accumulating in your body immediately upon a single contact (think doorknobs coated with the stuff). The air-purifier, on the other hand, works by recirculating air through its HEPA filters over a matter of hours (~2 air-changes per hour is the norm).

Moreover, such filters are better at removing particulates (like pollen or other allergens) than molecules (say odoriferous molecules like desi masala-mix agents!). So, no purifier can be fast enough to eliminate the agent while you are in the room. They can be used to clear the air after the event to prevent future mishaps, maybe.

**Acetylcholinesterase: degrades the neurotransmitter acetylcholine (any long, convoluted name that ends with an '-ase' is an enzyme that breaks something up). When this enzyme is inhibited, the neurotransmitter accumulates, leading to overstimulation of nerves at the neuromuscular junction - which is why your muscles spasm and you die. BTW, the abbreviation for the enzyme is AChE. Just in case you thought scientists lacked humor.

Indeed! 1-5 are the vulnerability norm. 6# is outlier stretch of imagination in social etiquette.

Dear Captain, confirm captcha for me.
    "Are you human?"

Jokes aside, from previous conversations I'm relating being in this world to playing a chess game...
    You vs someone any day...
    You know you are playing...
    They know they are playing...
Both aware the other is playing too...
    That it's a game...
Calculative, strategic (sometimes manipulative, trapping) moves...
How you will defend and win your rule...

Now with a "soul seeing eye" you don't just make moves watching outcomes or predictions but actually reading minds! We have walls and facades for reasons lady! Ain't fair! Or everything is in the bigger game of thrones of the survival of the fittest here? Damn(ed). :relieved:

Do tell me if it's a boon or bane (in the context of human relationships) to you? Just curious. With all the hypocrisies (ahem) in display, I wish I knew the whys behind the minds... Or not? "Ignorance is bliss"?

So...what works? What doesn't? The fun part? The zen part? Spill everything, please. If you will. :yum:
