Friends, One of my close friends is very interested in modelling but she is concerned if it is safe or not.. I mentioned that it is a bit risky since people in that industry will treat females with a different eye..but she's not convinced.. She wants to get into it.. I want to know from you all if it's advisable or not for girls to get into modeling.. Please let me know friends as I can Pass on your advices to my friend.. Thanks in advance friends!
whats your friend's background ? What is her reason to go into modelling field ? Is it money or passion for the industry ? If she has decided to go then maybe our inputs are not going to make a huge difference to her decision. My friends' daughter is trying to be a model, and I can say she is getting a few offers for local ads and she is still very much budding model. Depends on how old your friend is - because modelling is a glamour based industry - older females might not get enough chances - again depends.
Left Alone.. Feel My Life Has... Star25 posted Today at 1:22 AM Modelling - Is It Safe For Girls Star25 posted Yesterday at 7:24 PMI I am puzzled as to how someone could be bothered with a friend, no matter how close, when her own life crumbling all around. Modelling ?
Hi Amulet, There was another post by OP where she was asking about career change and how to go about it and better career prospects. Left Alone In The Dark Not Knowing What To Do.. Pls Help My reply was to that post - not sure why you mentioned my reply on that thread here - am I missing the context ?
I read the following in this thread... and remembered the link you had posted in that thread.... to the exact same OP, that is so useful to OP's best friend also. And besides, cousin, best-friend, someone-I-care-about, as well as oneself may all be the same person. Your helpful link would surely apply to all.
I have the feeling that the friend who wants to be a model, the friend who has questions about live-in relationship and our friend who is struggling with bad marriage and unsure career path is one and the same.
Whatever is comfortable/soothing to the member is alright. After all, people who might have grown up with stories of multiple avatars in the pantheon of gods would be quite full of their own adaptations of that. All the best to all of them, even if they be just one.
An Interesting Gotcha! If this were a living-encyclopedia-of-forum-threads the personification maybe like this
instead of shuttling advices given here to friend and their current situation to ILs. A friend can share about this forum and encourage to them to read the responses themselves.
It looks a tad out of character that you desire IL members views and then akin to post office to pass on the information to your (fictitious) pal . 2. Instead of this circuitous route, you make the question general and direct the question to IL AUDIENCE. 3. Also, if at all your query is on behalf of pseudo or genuine Paul, nothing prevents you from advising her or him to join IL. 4. Incidentally no profession is less hazardous and every profession has got patented pitfalls and hazards and those who manage smartly those “pits” can not only survive in their profession but amazingly reach zenith of that industry. 5. Numerous examples of models starting from scratch across ages In All geographies made it great and some even minted millions. 6. Alia Bhatt is one solid living example who had gained into bollywood stardom recently is going to strike hattrick of boxoffice films in Hindi and about to venture to other language film. Google would give numerous examples and other interesting sides of the industry ibid. Regards. God looks- after Models too - patented or not.
