One of the most controversial heroines of Hindu mythology who has five husbands is granted a boon that she will be a virgin (again) when she goes from one husband to the other. Or something like that. A modern take on that epic wonders that maybe she wished she could "forget" her encounter with one husband when transitioning to the next. There are some movies that I wish I could forget the storyline, what I liked about the acting, the reviews I read, etc. and watch the movie afresh, all over again. Wish I could relive the experience of watching it for the first time, savoring that after-movie moments when you ruminate over the story, the dialog, the ending, and maybe the beginning. You have any such movies? That you wish to forget and watch again? English, Hindi, any language. .
Top of my list of such movies to forget and watch again: A Wednesday! As an explanation for the startlingly young among us, this is a 2008 movie starring Naseeruddin Shah (and others, but they matter less). The story is about the Mumbai Police Commissioner (Anupam Kher) about to retire the following day recalling his most challenging case. Another one is Once Again starring Shefali Shah and Neeraj Kabi. Once Again (2018) - IMDb Mature love has rarely been handled so well in Hindi cinema. Listen ... Amaya comes close, but not enough.
DDLJ ilwale Dulhaniya le Jayenge has been hacked to death now; but the fun when you saw it the first time! i want to experience that One fine Day; Titanic; Guess my list would be mostly Rom-Coms!! Is that true!! Mahabharata has to be one of the most advanced Sci-fi of all times!
Interstellar hands down! It was not a movie but an experience to be cherished. I have watched it 3 times now and every time there was some different thing that made me astonished! My only regret is not watching it FDFS in a theatre!!!
Lots there - The recent one Badla (Amitabh), Butterfly on a Wheel (Pierce Bosnan & Gerard Butler) & choti si baat (Amol Palekar & Ashok Kumar) etc...many more...
"Qarib Qarib Single " is one such movie , I would like to watch again and again ! Directed by a woman, it depicts how a woman falls for a man, in a very realistic way !! I have already viewed it thrice in Netflix.
