Thanks a Akka for the thought provoking feedback and compliments. I agree with you cent percent.

Earlier we used to listen to elder's and follow their advices. Those days ladies did not go out much and they did not have outside knowledge. Their home was their world.

But now times have changed . Everyone learns from the outside world and technology. Now ladies are working women and they are highly educated and have to manage office and home. We were also working women but not educated like the present women .

Earlier marriage was decided by the elders but now a days the children decide. There are many inter caste marriages. It is difficult for girls and boys to get married. Since girls are in high position it has become difficult to manage office and home. They have to take care of children and challenges to face. There are husband's who help their wives in home and teaching children.

My husband also used to help me in cooking. taking care of children and also during delivery and when I had hip bone fracture. We have differences but I try to adjust . That's why our life is peaceful. I have always tried to be an Oyster.

Now a days there are so many divorces . In our days till marriage we never used to know anything about the boy. But now after engagement they go out. Some understand each other and go for marriage but some can't adjust and no marriage. Also in some cases girls love someone else but don't have the courage to tell their parents .They get engaged then they tell their parents. My own friend had experienced this.

Hope I have not written anything wrong

:hello:With due apologies, I in my FB only surmised a future possibility that may be after several decades. Several decades ago, no one thought of divorce, there were no courts or jurisprudence as we see now and also during India ruled by numerous kings. Saints and sadhus curse spouses in mythologies despite their obedience. Akhalya become stone for several centuries. ,!??

    2. I am not sure whether these are relevant but I made in the Indian context especially STAY AT HOME SPOUSES. In Hollywood they celebrate openly their separation and divorce! We even HEAR of marriage of convenience etc.,

    3. My sister I believe had written her wonderful experience and set out the blue print more suitable for marriages in Indian context/culture. I had already appreciated her post.

    Thanks and Regards.

God bless all kind of marriages including ones decided in heaven!

Satchi dear I agree to each and every word of yours. Since husband and wife both work they have to share the work.
