Thats what was shown in the Tamil movie DEV starring karthi and Rakul..

Karthi did not suit the part...

Zero chemistry between the hero and the heroine..

    Songs total watse...

Story and the messages could have been narrated so much better with different casting and the movie would have been a hit

    No depth in characters..

And could not get over the fact they showed it is so easy to
    Climb Everest!! Especially how Karthi
Managed an avalanche as cool as a cucumber. To top it,without oxygen and necessary tools he climbed the peak and made it!!

Color color a reel vidareenga! Manasu thaangave mudiyala..

    Just wanted to share:)

Arunima Sinha climed Mt. Everest as an amputee.
Erik Weihenmeyer made it to the top despite his blindness.
Alex Honnold recently free-climbed El Capitan.

Oxygen? Jeez, Rajnikanth could do it without any air whatsoever. Walking backwards. With a blindfold.

Not discounting their accomplishments but the top two had a lot of help, sherpas and all. Alex Honnold is an alien.

This post made me remember a clip I saw in which the villain tied the hero's sister to an electric chair thingy while the hero is some distance away. The villain flips the switch and the hero runs towards the heroine at the same time as the electricity is traveling through the wires....and he reaches her before the electricity does. He ran faster than... the speed of light. :grinning-smiley-048::D

I just pretend that all desi movies are situated in an alternate universe where the laws of physics don't apply. Makes it way more fun. : )

Well, the Sherpas had a lot of help too. Genetic help from their ancestors!! Ha. Take that you skeptic naysayer.
So ... the Sherpas don't count. Sort of like those nonchalant mountain goats leaping about vertical cliff faces. See here and here.

Someday soon, I expect genetic classes for sports - percent fast twitch fiber blah blah. That's what all the angst about Caster Semenya and transgender athletes is leading towards.
    Nah. Just another mountain goat.
    There are laws?

:hello:Non English movies one would find such anachronism, ridiculing common sense of the viewer. Horne Would be attired in full suit under the sky over tall mountain with snow while heroine would be scantily dressed and happily gyrating.
    Thanks and Regards.
