My mom used to make all these . I love them. Will try them. Thanks @Anusha2917 .
Yes my main problem is I forget to soak these healthy grains. I even told my DH once to remind me :(

I did this for a week and had severe stomach issues. So scared of trying it again :worried:

Thanks for the reply @vathsala30. We do this for Sankranthi and love it. Especially the addition of peppermints make them even more tasty right? :nut:

I prefer to use shishito green chillies, they are amazing.I have also used jalopenos, serrano chillies and korean chillies.I dont prefer to use banana peppers.Make sure to de seed the chillies, you can retain a few seeds for spice but if you are baking these better to de seed them completely.

I haven't tried it as I am not a sweet potato fan. :) This reminds me of another recipe.

21.Boil some taro roots, peel and slice into thick roundles, mix in some salt and spread these on a parchment paper, baste with some oil and bake till golden brown(traditionally these are deep fried).Sprinkle some chilli powder and serve. This can be eaten as a snack or as a side dish with your rice and dal.
