    I am glad this happened.
I hope more brave ones follow till the goons get tired of protesting and go home, so that someday the meeker ones who want to go for praying can do so without the fear of these goons.

These women may be doing it for whatever reason, they are paving the way for other women who dare not right now......anyways they are better than the goon protestors who think they are thekedaars of faith.

With elections over in a few months....next year will be better.

Dear yellowmango, please have a look at the Malayalam news channel. What did those two activist achieve by entering the temple ? U think we devotees will change . Our question is why only to Hindus and our tradition. Read abt the piravom church issue which Supreme Court has given verdict and what the Kerala govt did. This verdict came before Sabarimala Verdict. What happened to the nun who was raped by the so called father? Fight for them and not inside the temple . Those two women created hartal today. So many got arrested . Does anyone really want to visit a holy place creating so much of chaos and problem. Respect our tradition . Look at the contradiction these people who r supporting entry of women into Sabarimala is against triple thalak.

    Those are different issues.
I feel hindu women who want to go to the temple should be able to go without fear now that the SC has allowed .
Why worry about other religion when our own fellow religionists are treating younger hindu women like enemies?

Is this a race to bottom about which religion is more regressive?

Yes, stopping entry to women to sabarimala is wrong. Triple talak is wrong. So, is the church support to Bishop Franco. All three are wrong.

    See, no contradictions

its A tradition and it has to be respected . It’s not a place to prove women empowerment or gender equality.

People who are more interested in preventing people from worshipping ,by indulging in protests and bullying are goons .
Real devotees would have let the God judge these younger women . God can accept or reject their prayers.

I would like everyone to read about Temple Entry Proclamation . In those days lower caste were not allowed to enter temples because of the custom and belief that it affect the power of diety. Now ? Anyone can enter the temple. The lower caste were considered low . Same case in sabarimala, here the issue is with women. Can you believe, there was breast tax in 19th century on lower caste women if they cover breasts.. what happened. Women fought against it and they got right to cover their body.

All religion, temples , rules, rituals etc are created by humans . I dont think god has any partiality against women. The women did nothing wrong. They are allowed to enter the temple by supreme court. Govt of Kerala has no option other than following the SC.

If anyone want to visit temple they should be able to go and do Pooja. If someone dont want to go it's also fine. What happened after these two women entered ? Nothing they did some Pooja and now it's fine. They can do the same every day if entry of women is such an issue to the diety.

There is some ritual like 41 days of "vruth'. Who takes that?. If menstruation is the issue women have the option to go there on other days. The ban against women was introduced only a few decades back. Earlier every one was supposed to go and not many went there because of the hardships to reach the forest temple.

Every thing is transient. If a devotee wants to go she should be able to go. It's her belief and choice. I dont think God can discriminate devotees based on gender as everything is created by the same God

Some political parties backed by terrorists attitude are creating issues there for political purposes. It has nothing to do with devotees. I am sure people of Kerala will recognize that. It's the same state where beef ban dont work. Its is up to the individual to decide what to do . No one can force their belief on others.

It’s not a regression. Only activist are interested in going to the temple. No women devotees are interested nor will they allow. It’s only against the HINDU religion so it is our duty to protect it. There are missions to destroy the Hindu community and encourage conversion.

You do not get to decide who is a true devotee.

You do not need to allow either, it is the law of the land.moreover it has already happened.
