Yes Its better to avoid milk during fever, try to give him rice water(Fermented), broken rice kanji etc to recover soon.

    Hi Ammu2886,
first, give rice water with some salt when the baby is having fever, then in a pressure cooker , add broken rice, few fenugreek seeds, salt, two garlic cloves, and a teaspoon cumin seeds with water and allow it to 4 or 5 whistles , if no fever add coconut milk to it in low flame for a minute and switch off . give this to him as a lunch and dinner. this will make his body cool and its easy to disgest.

i have a 17 month old baby boy and this works better during his sick days.

No dear..He hasn't started talking yet except amma, acha means dad..these days he started calling my sil hubby ..other than that he tries to understand what i say..Like if I say him ''no" he wil stop there..He wil not try to pick the things which are not supposed to be picked..He asks to switch on fan..shows what he needs to eat from plate while feeding him... he doesn't talk he just does actions for what all he needs...
