Best And Worst Weddings You've Attended

Best was mine( atleast to me) as I felt everything got over way too soon even before I realized its my wedding day. Moreover I had many surprise guests , a few unexpected long lost school friends .
Another memorable wedding would be that of my friend’s who is frm Delhi and was getting married to her colleague in Chennai . The whole arrangements were done by the bride and groom and had very few close relatives and friends attending the function. The function had a good mix of North Indian nd South Indian ceremonies. Had a great time those 3 days.

A not- so- good wedding I attended was my cousin’s which was poorly organized and ddnt even have a decent hall for the guests to have food from- a very congested dark room which was too warm in the summer. Moreover my cousin’s MIL and a few ppl frm the groom side were walking around with a sulky face as many things ddnt match their expectations.

True Geeta Ji. Weddings in India are all about extended family and society. It should mainly be a celebration of the bride and groom. I have decided that my sons can have civil ceremonies if they want to.
My wedding had its own share of stresses leading up to it. . But I had a realization when I woke up in the morning and looked at my dark colored henna decorated hands
This was OUR day and no one could spoil it for me. I thoroughly enjoyed our wedding and I am sure and hope every bride/groom does theirs.
