    Ten days back a funny incident happened .As usual after bf had my medicines and after thirty minutes i felt sleepy due to the lullaby sung by medicine.i had a sound sleep from 11 am to two pm.suddenly i heard a sound of music in the hall and woke up and rushed out of the bedroom.i looked the wall clock to check the time and it showed Two .usually my Dh come for tea at four'o clock and so i thought it may be around four and after seeing the clock got confused.Then i said to my husband 'i think battery has gone off and the time is stuck up at two.He stared at me and replied ,clock is perfect with full battery charge and shows the correct time.your charge has been drained by the medicines and you woke up at wrong time and blaming the clock.From one'o clock i was waiting to have lunch but no response from you .waited till one thirty and then i had my lunch.you didn't wake up even hearing the sound of a plate falling on the ground(i think he dropped down the plate as a wake up alarm) .Go and have your lunch to recharge your energy level" i left the place with a big grin and thought my time is good that's what he didn't play the Drums for a long time.
    This is what happens in life too.without knowing the reality we blame others for our mistakes.

    Deep sleep can be amazing as well as disorienting, Periamma. Remember the times when I have woken up late in the evening thinking it is morning!!! This morning I woke up thinking someone had rung the doorbell. I heard it twice. When I came out and asked, I was told there was no doorbell! Deep sleep can be such a blessing!

    Periamma, good sleep is good but deep sleep is the best for the BMI, though it can be a bit disorienting when we wake up abruptly. I too have got confused on time and wondered whether it is day or night!

    Blaming others for our follies is the easiest thing to do. I consciously refrain from that.:)

    @periamma
    I loved these two sentences. First one for its elegance and the second one for stating the truth of life in very simple sentences. I loved your blog.

    Very nice @periamma.
    Once when I was in elementary school, on a Sunday afternoon I had slept (I never used to sleep in the afternoon) and woke up at 5 pm. It was cloudy, but I thought it was just before dawn and and very happy that I woke up so early, went and had my shower, and packed my school bag and wore my school uniform. My parents were watching me with a smile on their face. I thought they were happy that their girl has become so responsible, but wondering why mom was not cooking anything.

    Within 30 minutes or so, as it got darker I realized that it was still Sunday. Of course I fought with my parents and cried for some time for letting me make a fool of myself.

    Profound words Rukmini. :beer-toast1:
