    YESTERAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW

Some one asked me -'What are you doing tomorrow?' And that kept me wondering for some time and I said -'Don't know '. Can I really do something 'Yesterday' that is gone or 'Tomorrow ' that is yet to come?

Forget about doing anything yersterday, we can't even undo what we did. If that was possible I won't be in penance today for my wrong doings.

Tomorrow, in any case, may not come. What is the point of postponing the good things I want to do?

I am therefore left with only one option. To do it today, nay just now.

But then this damn HOPE crops up. Come on man, you are going to live for 20 years , ok 10 years, hold on at least 5 years.

Okay, fine, tomorrow then. Good night

    @HariLakhera
Very thought provoking. I remember the famous Elvis Presley song 'It's now or never, tomorrow will be too late.'
A fraction of a second back is yesterday and a fraction of a second ahead is tomorrow. Nothing that we have done in the past can be undone. What we plan for tomorrow may not happen. This is the beauty of life. By the way, I think Hindi is the only language that calls yesterday and tomorrow by the same name. It has a lot of significance.

    True.
Yes in Hindi 'Kal' is both for yesterday and tomorrow. And "Kaal" can also added to Bhutkaal (The past), Vartmaan Kaal (The present) and Bhavishyat Kaal (The future). I was told there is no word to denote gender he or she in Tamil. Different languages , different takes.

In Tamil we do have separate words to distinguish male and female. Like in Sanskrit we have Pullinga, street linga and napumsaka linga, we do have three classification in Tamil

:hello:Dear HL YOU HAD BEAUTIFULLY stated in a nutshall that Life is about Present.
    Something in me
    Grows something dies
    Every second I breath
I die and live every second
As I dye my silver crown
It is my past present and future.
    Thanks and REGARDS

:hello:The title also reminds one of 1963 box office hit popular holluwood film Sophia Larsen starrer and the beautiful story blending past present and future dreams.
