    My most trusted home remedy is to drink 2 tbsp of castor oil first in the morning followed by 2 or 3 glasses of warm water followed by a cup coffee or tea. This will cause 2-3 rounds of loose motions and help you. If it suits you, you may take it once a fortnight.

    Apart from that on another day apply warm mixture of 2 tsp castor oil+ 2 -4 tsp coconut oil mixture to your scalp n hair. Let it soak for at least 2 hours and wash your hair. Again if you wish you may try once a fortnight. this also encourage hair growth.

    Apply a drop of castor oil to your naval region and massage at night. Wash in the morning.This can be done as frequently as you wish.

    Apart from this drinking tender coconut water also helps to cool the body.

    Note:

    People with sheeta prakruti (prone to colds n chest ailments must be careful before consuming castor oil or oiling n soaking their heads for even 2 hours. Others don't have to fear anything.

    Pregnants should not consume castor oil.

    Castor oil is an irritant laxative. It workss by irritating the inner lining of the intestines, which leads to diarrhoea. It also leads to increased moveent of intestines ; it's certainly not good for early pregnancy. Use of castor oil or any other irritant laxative on frequent basis is not good for oneself.

    @ashima10,

    One may kindly check with an Ayurvedic doctor. Perhaps before the procedures it is safe and definitely not after the beginning of the procedures and a big NO for a pregnant. The moment that thought crossed my mind I added a note to that effect. Moreover OP has clearly mentioned that she will be starting the procedure next month.

    I totally agree with you. Kindly go through the clarifications I have given. I have used it whenever I have faced bad constipation or body heat issues like eye irritation, headaches, burning of soles, palms or even private parts. Since induced diarrhea is not one of the best experiences, anybody would try it just once or twice that too in horrible summers. Following this procedure, one gets good sleep and by the next day, often they feel definitely better. This is an Ayurvedic/home remedy. Most Allopathic doctors discourage almost all forms of these and I don't agree with them when it comes to my body. Personally, our families have used this remedy all along without any side-effect.
