My 15kg Weight Loss Journey..dedicated Buddies Pls Join Me..lets Loose The Extra Flab

    Today s schedule
    Breakfast- oats dosai and onion tomato chutney
    Mid morning -almonds and peanuts
    Lunch - radish sambar,bitter guard fry
    Eve- coffee
    Dinner -same as lunch but had Brinjal sabji.
    Had milk.
    I had a cup of papaya after dinner bcos I was hungry.
    Water-had 3 lit of water.(1 lit was jeera water)
    Exercise-treadmill and elliptical 20 min each
    20 min walking in the evening

    How do you eat papaya ? Does it cause heat ? Is it the normal one they sell at the store ?

    Hi

    This sounds very nice. Some thing definite and doable. I would also like to take up this challenge. For me, daily exercise is the toughest challenge. I end up postponing it.

    I checked my weight today and have reduced one kg. I am surprised because i don't think i put much effort in terms of diet and exercise. Maybe just becoming conscious of what i eat and conscious of the need to stay fit has had an impact. Really happy and all enthused. Being in happy frame of mind, avoiding negative thoughts has helped a lot too.

    Day 2( followed 90% diet and water 3liter and 35 min walk in lunch)

    My day 3 of week 1st: (1400 Cal)
    5:30 am One glass warm water then tea (half cup) (40cal)
    6;30am One banana (100 Cal)
    7:45 am: One boiled potato sandwich (150cal) +two Almond soaked (10 cal)
    9:00 am Green Tea (cup) :beer-toast1:
    10:30am: Fruit salad (1 bowl) (150 cal)
    12:00 noon: Tea half cup (50cal)
    1:00 pm: Soup+ Salad (150 cal)
    3:30 pm: Soup
    5:15pm: Dahi lauki raita (1/2Bowl) (100 cal)
    6:30 pm Tea half cup and Channa (100 cal)
    7:30 pm Soup and Sauted salad (100 Cal)
    8:00 pm Outside Dinner (450cal)(Will try to have paneer Tikka and one roti).....Will try to control my carvings...

    No weight loss today:anguished:: 78.5kg

    Does any body also having constipation :BangHead: problem? Any solution

    Try to have any of your cravings during breakfast or lunch time rather than dinner. If unavoidable like parties, compensate for it the next day.

    I have also noticed, that whenever I eat very light during the day, I end up hogging during dinner as my body feels deprived. So I keep eating healthy snacks all day.

    N no weight loss is always better than weight gain, I recently read an article about body holding on to weight a lil longer thinking it should save it, but we have to push through n make the body understand that it should let it go.

    Constipation and other irritable bowel movements can happen esp in the beginning of a diet, mostly, hot green tea, Apple / banana helps for me.

    I usually buy from local market, keep it covered with a paper till it ripens. I eat a bowl of it with salt and chat masala

    Congrats on your weight loss, i know how much it means. Yes, we can loose initial few Kgs with a controlled diet itself. Welcome to the challenge!!

    Have beetroot in any form and see the differnece

    Tried , tested. I have tried hot water, so many veggies with fiber, fruits , buttermilk, soaked raisins, triphala but nothing works like a cup of beetroot subzi for constipation. My gync told me this during my pregnancy and i dint know it was such a wonder veggie till i had it
