Ladies, I just turned a year older 2 days ago. Facebook very kindly provided me with memories from 10 years ago. My oh my what a change. I did age. Of course all of us age and there is no denying that.
Are you all using any kind of skin care routine to age gracefully? Please do share.

Right now, all I do everyday is wash my face twice with castile liquid soap. Of course that needs to change.
I used to be able to do Cleansing, Toning and Moisturising every day but stopped due to lack of time (thats the excuse I am sticking to).

Please share your routine to help the signs of ageing slow down a bit...help a sista out. Thanks!

Edit: I bet there is an old thread somewhere. this is for all of us trying to start over now.

Is the Castile soap you are using made with 100% olive oil? I used to buy Dr. Bronner's which is advertised as Castile, but I found it very drying. The ingredients list a whole bunch of other oils so that is not a true Castile.
I have switched to Evan Healy products for the past two years after trying them out during a demo at Whole Foods. Several of their products are based on Ayurvedic principles and they have pure, plant-based ingredients. At the risk of sounding like a sales rep my early-forties skin is the best it's ever been.
I use a cleansing milk first, then a combination of hydrosol and oil serum to moisturize and finish with one of their creams or whipped shea butter depending on the season.
I also like the Andalou masks for weekly use.

I found it too drying, and I am comparing it to some actual castile soaps made just with olive oil that someone gifted me from Italy. Dr. Bronner's is probably okay for household use but I will not use it on my skin anymore. It does have its devoted fans though.
