Fat To Fit-a New Venture

    New year has started and weight loss has always been my un-accomplished resolution. I very well realize that I am not going to get the butt I want by sitting on it:(..I have to incorporate healthy eating and ensure each day is a new day to tackle my goal

    Having confidence and positive mental health about our body is a great way to stay motivated. Look into the mirror that is your competition

    I wanted to take baby steps and ensure progress at each level.3 months from now I will definitely thank myself for the changes I am doing now in my daily routine

    To start with I am going to focus my attention on calories. Calories are tiny creatures that live in our closet and sew our clothes a bit tighter every night:((bad eh)

    Guys I need help from you all to help me identify the right app to count calories and also join me in my weight loss journey.

    Will share my daily routine here.

    Happy New year. Fitness app: healthify me (for indian food) or my fitness pal ( other types). My friend suggested these and it works great to track ( infact i was shocked to see small items like dates adding so many calories). All the best for your attempt.

    Start with an exercise routine which you love.

    Walking,zumba,yoga etc..

    Then slowly start with strength training.cant insist enough.

    Planks..magic.

    Don't diet.Eat what you like but with moderation and use low fat or subtitutions.Never go with fat free.protein is very important.

    Water...mantra.


    Need a good butt? Squats!
    Sleep.Need it for body recovery.

    Thanks all for the tips.Stress and in sufficient sleep are the 2 contributors to be weight.
    Started practicing pranayanam which is helping to control my stress levels.Walking for 20 mins and yoga is giving me good night sleep.

    Food i am having as multiple smaller meals and i am ensuring i reach 10K steps during office hours.

    You could sign up with healthify me . They charge you decent money for a 3 months package .They have Yoga/ Work out and Diet plans. You can choose the coaches and log day to day activities and food intake on app. They track and support you during your weight loss journey.
